The Power Of Consistency Is Undefeated
It's a holiday week and on the minds of many is giving thanks for all we have.
At the same time, there are non-stop deals vying for our attention and dollars.
As a high performer, how can you create an advantage in this season?
There are a three things I like to do:
On a journey to be our best selves, we are always looking for the inches where we can gain an edge.
I encourage you to be intentional about where those inches are in the next week, and take action on them.
It's where some of the biggest growth will happen.
Self Development
"The Power of Consistency Is Undefeated"
When I look back at my personal growth journey over the last decade the most impactful part has been my ability to be consistent.
The willingness to show up and put in the work on myself every single day, regardless of the holiday, if times are tough or if they are rocking.
"Trust The Process"
When you do there is no ceiling on your potential and what you can create.
There are two areas in which I have seen the most success with the Power of Consistency.
I encourage you to audit your Consistency and look for where this is an opportunity to create a new practice.

ChatGPT & AI
This is the most important tip I have ever given with ChatGPT that will immediately make it more powerful for you.
This is a hidden feature in the settings that very few people know about, but only takes a few minutes to implement.
What this does is allow you to give ChatGPT the most important information about: 1. Who You Are 2. What You Do 3. What You Sound Like
With that foundation, ChatGPT will then create more tailored responses for you, which creates infinitely better results.
Life Update
Being a Dad is the BEST...and it also comes with challenges.
Thanks to daylight savings time, Maverick has started to wake up between 5:15 - 6 am every morning (when previously he'd sleep until at least 7 am).
It has thrown a major wrench in my morning routine, as I've consistently gone to the gym at 6 am for the last decade.
This allowed me to get in my workout while he's sleeping, and then help when he gets up.
I've since had to restructure what the start of my day looks like, prioritizing being there for the family.
Where this has been the most challenging for me is mentally.
Not being so rigid and stuck in my ways that I see this as a negative, but instead to see the blessing in this season of life.
My workouts are now happening at all times of the day - sometimes after I drop him off at preschool at 8 am, other times in between meetings at 2 pm.
I find the timing of these workouts to be more challenging mentally as there are more distractions and things vying for my attention (aka messing with my Power of Consistency - which I shared a podcast episode about).
Ultimately turning this into a good thing is where the real gold is at.
As Andy Frisella talked about with 75 Hard, "The conditions are never perfect."
I embrace that, even if it isn't easy and I am still working on it.

"When Being Great Isn't Enough"
Recently I received some feedback from two friends (who are both coaches) about the way they perceive me and it cut me to my core.
They said two phrases that I couldn't believe were used to describe me. It literally broke my brain.
Feedback is a valuable tool for growth, and you've got to be willing to take (especially if it hurts).
As I often do, the most natural thing for me was to press record and turn my thoughts and what I learned about this feedback into a podcast.
It is one of the most uncomfortable episodes I've ever recorded, and will show you a side of me that will surprise you.
