WeCANstruct is back! To celebrate our 55th anniversary, teams of Wendy’s and Quality Supply Chain Co-op, Inc. employees created life-size Wendy’s-themed structures using unopened shelf-stable food. Through this event, Wendy’s donated more than $26,000 of food, which amounted to nearly 11,000 cans of food, to the Dublin Food Pantry. Congratulations to the winning team, Quality CANstruction, on your replica of the very first Wendy’s restaurant that opened in Columbus in 1969. We can’t wait to see what our teams CANstruct next year!

This Giving Tuesday, we’re proud to share that Wendy’s is making charitable donations to 17 organizations across the globe through our Community Giving Program. Through this program, Wendy’s Company employees - from our Senior Leadership Team to our restaurant managers and crew - can nominate a charitable organization they support to receive a grant. Thank you, volunteers! Last week, more than 100 Wendy’s and Quality Supply Chain Co-op, Inc. employees volunteered at the Mid-Ohio Food Collective in Grove City, Ohio to Give Something Back to our local community. We sorted donations, stocked shelves, and helped market shoppers load their cars with food. We’re proud to partner with MOFC, which serves 20 counties across central and eastern Ohio, to end hunger, one meal at a time.
