This program is a true example of community collaboration. Companies recycle products, volunteers sort and stock items, while nonprofits keep their overhead low so more resources can be funneled into programming. This refers to the 39% of Kansas households who work hard, but struggle to make ends meet, and often do not qualify for public assistance.
