Adobe wanted its new floor of office space in its Times Square location to reflect its energetic, vibrant surroundings, creating a space that reflected its values of seamlessness, inclusivity, and innovation. Nanometer worked alongside Syska Hennessy Group and M Moser Associates to make this vision a reality. Nanometer used Pixel Controlled NanoFleck LEDs behind custom-made Arktura panels in their entryway and in their "Campfire" presentation and gathering space. Gently animated lighting creates a dynamic ambience that serves as a natural focal point in the Campfire, while the carefully arranged narrow beam RGBW LEDs in the entry form a beautiful dappled effect like sunlight coming through leaves. I’m excited to share Five Visions for Building Climate Positive Neighborhoods, a project I contributed to as part of Urban Design Forum’s Rewire initiative! This publication compiles research, case studies, policy recommendations, and pilot ideas from 48 civic leaders, offering a blueprint to transform NYC’s built environment into an engine for climate action. I worked alongside an incredible group of colleagues (Gary Chung, Eleanor Gibson, Jenny O., Candelaria Mas Pohmajevic, Matthew Seybert, AIA, LEED AP, Kristin Sposito, Zeineb Sellami, Saritha Ramakrishna) as part of the Circular Hubs Working Group that worked one of the five projects - "Leverage Industrial Zones to Drive Circular Construction."
