’Tis the season! The Martin Marietta team has been busy collecting toys and donations for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Tots program. Organized by our Military & Veterans Community, our drive ended with hundreds of toys donated and more than $11,000 raised for the cause. We’re grateful for the opportunity to help our neighbors have a warm and safe holiday season. Thanks to all who gave!

We love the partnership between our Ames Mine team and the Boys & Girls Club of Story County. We're proud to help build stronger communities everywhere we work.

Since 2016, our Central Division has partnered with @mealsfromtheheartland to fight hunger locally, nationally and internationally. Together, we've sponsored more than 150,000 meals — including the 15,000 our team packed during a recent two-hour volunteer shift. Why does the team keep coming back? Just ask Martin Marietta Director of Natural Resources Neil Grant. “Our staff truly enjoys the meal packaging events. The camaraderie is genuine and the competition between our assembly tables has become fierce."

There's nothing better than a good round of show-and-tell! Aria, daughter of Martin Marietta Office Manager Joy Liggins, recently highlighted some of her favorite things for her classmates: 💙 A model excavator. 💙 A Martin Marietta hard hat. 💙 A pink safety vest. 💙 A squishy rock. 💙 A “Someone Who Loves Me Works at Martin Marietta” T-shirt.

This #NationalMinersDay, we're grateful for all miners - especially those on our Martin Marietta team - and all they do to safely provide the foundational materials on which our communities grow.

Professional development and growth are good for our people and our company. Recently, 26 members of our ONE team completed our Leadership EDGE program at North Carolina State University. Weeks later, 19 others completed our Senior Leadership Development Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Congrats to all who participated! We look forward to seeing you put your newly gained knowledge and connections to use!

We were incredibly proud to see our team work as ONE to support those impacted by Hurricane Helene earlier this year. Our East Division's Hickory Quarry team transformed a previously planned Community Day into an event where North Carolina, East Texas and Arkansas Martin Marietta team members and neighbors donated more than 15 pallets of supplies. In addition, the Martin Marietta East Division donated $20,000 each to Black Mountain Home for Children, Youth & Families, Golden Harvest Food Bank and Harvest Hope Food Bank. Donations were also made to The Salvation Army of Greater Hickory and the High Country, and Samaritan’s Purse.
