Ingevity provides products and technologies that purify, protect and enhance the world around us. Through a team of talented and experienced people, we develop, manufacture and bring to market solutions that help customers solve complex problems and make the world more sustainable. We operate in three reporting segments: Performance Chemicals, which includes specialty chemicals and pavement technologies; Advanced Polymer Technologies, which includes biodegradable plastics and polyurethane materials; and Performance Materials, which includes activated carbon. Our products are used in in a variety of demanding applications, including adhesives, agrochemicals, asphalt paving, bioplastics, coatings, elastomers, lubricants, pavement markings, publication inks, oil exploration and production and automotive components that reduce gasoline vapor emissions. Headquartered in North Charleston, South Carolina, Ingevity operates from 31 countries around the world and employs approximately 2,050 people.   • Employees at our Warrington, U.K., manufacturing site donated £1,250 to the Warrington Food Bank to provide healthy meals for residents. In the spirit of the season, the funds were gifted by facility employees who were offered food hampers as an annual holiday gift but chose to donate the monetary value of the hampers to support those in need. The team also collected £260 for Save the Children's Jumper Day where funds are used to keep children around the world safe, healthy and learning. #IngeviCares

  • Three shifts of employees and their family members attended Family Day at our Zhuhai, China, facility in November and December. Good health and happiness were a connecting theme as teams played games to build teamwork using The IngeviWay and our code of conduct as their focus.

Mr. Willis serves as senior vice president and chief financial officer (CFO) at Ashland Inc, a global additives and specialty ingredients company serving a wide range of consumer and industrial markets, including architectural coatings, automotive, construction, energy, food and beverage, nutraceuticals, personal care and pharmaceuticals.   • On Saturday, Nov. 9, employees from our Waynesboro, Georgia, plant joined hundreds of walkers for the sixth annual Walk for Water. The event supports Water Mission, a nonprofit raising awareness and funds to support over 2.1 billion people worldwide who lack access to safe water. Team Ingevity raised $400 for the event and our Waynesboro plant IngeviCares lead, Darrell Beckley, seized the second-place spot for top walker. #IngeviCares

  • More than 30 North Charleston employees volunteered for half-day and full-day shifts during Trident United Way's Day of Caring on November 21. Team members collaborated with nonprofit Metanoia to construct a shed for a community garden, remove brush and debris from a vacant lot for an affordable home, and paint the fence at an ADA-compliant, affordable home in the Chicora and Accabee neighborhoods of North Charleston. #DaysOfCaring

  • On Nov. 2, Ingevity's Covington, Virginia, plant donated drinks and supplies for the Boys Home of Virginia's 8th annual Harvest Hustle 5K, 10K and half-marathon along the Jackson River Scenic Trail.
