Last week, GEM Coalition members Christine Roeder of Detroit Regional Partnership and Lauren Else of Mobility MI joined other #BBBRC members at the first-ever #ROADMAP Summit in Washington, D.C. Hosted by the U.S. Department of Commerce, the U.S. Economic Development Administration and the National Science Foundation (NSF), the summit was all about bringing the nation’s top innovation ecosystems together—along with partners from industry, philanthropy, academia and more—to chart the future of U.S. competitiveness in science and tech. With inspiring programming and plenty of opportunities to connect, we left with fresh ideas and actionable strategies we’re ready to put into motion.
