£85.8 million Investment to Drive Zero-Emission Vehicle Technology in the UK Announced. The Advanced Propulsion Centre UK (APC) and the Department for Business and Trade have announced a multi-million-pound investment to drive forward zero-emission vehicle technology in the UK. The investment will support cutting-edge, green vehicle technology projects, including ultra-lightweight vehicles, zero-emission buses, and new battery technology. The funding, totaling £85.8 million, will be contributed by both industry and government to accelerate the industry’s transition to net zero and boost British business.
