🎉 Exciting News! OASIS EP is featured in the latest edition of AESP's Energy Intel Magazine (page 6). We are also thrilled to announce that we will be presenting the EV Readiness Score at the AESP Annual Conference in Phoenix, Arizona. Check out the details here: [AESP Annual Conference](https://aesp.org/annual). The EV Readiness Score is to electric vehicles what the Walkability Score is to pedestrian-friendly neighborhoods. Our vision is that residents moving into new neighborhoods will have access to both indices, allowing them to assess the walkability and EV adoption/accessibility of their new community. As we transition to a zero-emissions vehicle future, it’s crucial to have data-driven tools for selecting sites for #EVchargingstations, evaluating #EVadoption rates, and promoting #equity. Our Score and Methodology accomplishes this and more, providing insights at the zip code level. To learn more about our work and vision, visit us at [Oasis Energy Partners](https://lnkd.in/ehnHzqDJ) or reach out to us at [email protected]. Like many energy companies, OASIS is reckoning with what the new administration’s plans are for clean energy. It seems as if we as a nation will be at a juxtaposition of the need for more electricity while also producing more fossil fuels. We do not support #fossilfuel production. We are, however, in the cutting edge of #transmission and #distribution so that utilities can successfully perform #gridmodernization and increase #reliability Our #OASIS TD platform will help utilities better manage transmission and distribution upgrades Our OASIS Interconnection Queue Management platform is perfect for utilities managing #FERC Order #2023. #interconnection

The 2024 District of Columbia Clean Energy Summit, presented by the Public Service Commission of the District of Columbia, took place this week. The summit, attended by industry leaders and federal agencies like the #DOD, #EPA, and #DOE, underscored the importance of collaboration among utility customers, utility companies, policymakers, and other groups. It was a unique opportunity to demonstrate the benefits of stakeholders working together toward a common objective. Our colleague, Brooke Bey Smallwood⚡️, shared what stood out as major takeaways: - Workforce Development Demand: Almost every panel emphasized the growing need for skilled professionals across solar, EV, and other clean energy sectors. - Skill Gaps in Operations: While there’s capacity to build these projects, maintaining and operating them effectively requires a skilled workforce that is still in short supply. - Community Outreach Potential: It became clear that workforce development and community engagement aren’t just for public projects—private solar developers need these services, too. This summit highlighted a pressing gap: infrastructure building is only half the battle. To fully realize the potential of clean energy, we need to ramp up training and outreach efforts across the board. Exciting times ahead for clean energy workforce development! #CleanEnergy #WorkforceDevelopment #SolarEnergy #DCPSC #EV #thejpigroup
