Following the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge on March 26th, the US Transportation Command (TRANSCOM) Operations Center quickly leveraged the AI and Data Accelerator (ADA) team's Vessel Tracking tool, supported by Advana, to assess the impact. The tool identified DoD cargo that was scheduled for pick up in the coming days. Using standard processes, TRANSCOM swiftly arranged alternative port locations for the stranded cargo and coordinated with commercial partners to ensure smooth pick-up at new ports. This immediate situational awareness, enabled by Advana, allowed for rapid dissemination of alternative plans, minimizing disruptions and reducing inquiries. Advana's role in supporting the ADA team exemplifies how data-driven solutions are crucial for operational resilience and efficiency in challenging situations. #Advana #TRANSCOM #DoD #Logistics #Innovation #OperationalExcellence https://lnkd.in/e9EwnQ8t
