I had the honor and opportunity to attend the Digital Summit Series this week. I am so grateful I had the chance to connect with many inspiring marketing professionals. The energetic atmosphere was contagious, and it was motivational to listen to knowledgeable individuals speak about their passion. This time last year, I was working from home (three/four years) locked in on my computer, often stuck in my own head, questioning my knowledge, and sadly my confidence. Attending this conference pulled me out of my comfort zone and reminded me of how far I’ve come, both personally and professionally. In many ways, this conference resonated with me on a metaphorical level. • AI – Still a work in progress, but incredibly powerful. The more it learns and adapts, the stronger and more impactful it becomes. -Me in a nutshell. • Data – It’s confusing, messy, and sometimes hard to understand. But with courage, support, and if you ask for help it can be transformed to work effectively and efficiently. -Me, I’m data. 🫠 • Change – Marketing is constantly evolving and changing, it can be very uncomfortable, and if you don’t adapt, you’ll be left behind. -Me. I’ve changed, adapted, and built resilience in both my personal and professional life in the past six months. I'm running towards the uncomfort. Although these are just three key takeaways, I left with a huge amount of knowledge and can’t wait to apply what I’ve learned to grow and continue to excel. My passion for marketing has only deepened, and I can’t wait to continue growing alongside this team and like-minded individuals.
