We just threw the ultimate tailgate party at 35,000 feet! 🛫🏈 As the Official Airline of the SEC, we wanted to surprise Passengers onboard one lucky flight to ATL with an SEC celebration! Everyone onboard received an official Southeastern Conference hat and a stadium bag filled with goodies such as game day buttons, koozies, Rapid Rewards points, and more from our great partners Sprouts Farmers Market, Keurig Dr Pepper Inc., and Johnsonville. Once we were in the air, Passengers answered trivia for a chance to win even more swag. One lucky football fan even won tickets to the SEC Football Championship game! After we touched down in ATL, Passengers scored a picture with the SEC Football Championship trophy and snagged even more swag at the gate. We can't wait to S-E-C you all at the big game! "This flight is one of my favorite memories and a highlight of my 40-year Flight Attendant career here at Southwest!" Charles, a World War II Army Veteran, recently traveled from Dallas to our nation's capital with Honor Flight DFW. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity was made even sweeter, as his daughter Carol and granddaughter Danielle were two of the Flight Attendants serving the veterans and their companions onboard! They even surprised him at the gate before the flight with sweet signs that he absolutely adored. Thank you, Charles, and all veterans - we're grateful for your service. ❤️💙💛
