You could be getting more out of your influencer marketing. You paid $$$ to have an influencer unbox your product, they gave a lovely review, and you got a bunch of new customers. That's a major win. But are you also using the content itself? - Use the content in your ad copy. Take note of how the influencer described your product. What's new, what's refreshing, and what might you learn from? Consider taking their messaging and repurposing it into your ad copy. A/B test that ad against an existing campaign and see which performs better. - Repurpose screenshots. Did they get some good shots in their Instagram Reel? Consider screenshotting some stills and using them in future content or ad campaigns. (This is, of course, assuming you have permission from the influencer!) - Crosslink to their post. Maybe you're publishing a review roundup on your blog, or you're highlighting favorite use cases. Considering including that influencer's content along with the link to their original post. Influencer marketing doesn't have to be a one-and-done paid deal. Ideally, you'll get more utility out of the content which will better sustain your marketing efforts. #marketing #influencermarketing #creatormarketing

Steal this Black Friday Cyber Monday (BFCM) marketing idea. If I'm a beauty brand, I'm thinking about Dyson Airwraps. High-priced product with a very engaged, knowledgeable customer base. I'm going to sparktoro . com and analyzing the audience that searches "dyson airwrap." I'm going to check the other sites that this audience also visits. (Maybe I can squeeze in a last-minute ad buy!) Examples: - Teen Vogue - By Chloe Wen - Strawberry Chic Next, I'm checking out to this audience's most used social networks: - TikTok (get some content out asap!) - Instagram (repurpose those TikToks into Reels?) - Reddit (hang out in relevant Subreddits and post helpful insights) Then I'm looking at Topics for content ideas (new SparkToro feature!): - Must-have Dyson accessories - Effective acne treatments for teens - Sustainable beauty brands to follow - Best anti-aging skincare products - Best dresses for different body types ... any and all of those topics seem like great fodder for a TikTok or Instagram Reel. 📣 If you found this helpful, comment with an industry/sector/audience you'd like us to analyze next! #bfcm #marketing #marketingstrategy

📣 Announcing: Topics in SparkToro! This latest feature in SparkToro shows you: 1) Relevant topics. We show you the topics that your audience cares about and is likely to consume or look for anywhere online. 2) Broad interests. These topics reveal your audience's other interests. For instance, travel writers are likely to be interested in personalized itineraries and photography. 3) Content ideas. And if that data still isn't enough to get your creative gears turning, we also give you headline ideas. Travel writers might want to read a post called, "Top 10 Family Vacation Spots int he USA." Create a free SparkToro account to get a peek at this new data. All the data is available for Business and Agency plans. 👀 #audienceresearch #marketing #contentmarketing

SparkToro reposted this
NEW FEATURE in SparkToro - Topics, Interests, and Content Ideas Thanks to some amazing work from Casey Henry, you can now search for an audience and see high affinity topics, interests, and ideas for content creation that aren't just around SEO keywords, but around what the audience consumes. It uses input from behavioral data (websites and searches) plus demographic data (how people describe themselves) to deliver something that, to my knowledge, can't be found anywhere else 👇👇👇

Leadership is totally on-board with content marketing, yet more than half of content marketers lack the resources to do their jobs well. In a recent survey, Tommy Walker found about one-third of executives are "extremely bought in" with content marketing (over 40% are "mostly bought in"). Yet content marketers aren't so happy. Nearly half report problems with workflow, alignment, lack of strategy, and accessing subject matter experts. What gives? Join us for SparkToro Office Hours to learn what's going on and how we can move forward. As always, the show will be hosted by Rand Fishkin and Amanda Natividad. This time they'll be joined by guest Tommy Walker who conducted the survey, "The State of (Dis)content." Attend live or get the recording. #marketing #contentmarketing #audienceresearch https://lnkd.in/gdbYYwSW

This month we hosted our first in-person SparkTogether event. We planned it all with our agency, and only had 2 meetings leading up to it. Having few meetings is just how we do things at SparkToro. It's symptomatic of our approach to chill work, where we lead with trust and boundaries, and focus on outcomes over input. Not every company is able to pull this off. Maybe it’s your company culture or maybe it’s the nature of a given project that requires high-touch relationships with external partners. Either way, it might help to try to set yourself up for a more asynchronous partnership. After all, everybody wants more time back on their calendar. New on the blog: the chill way we hire and manage agencies and consultants at SparkToro... https://lnkd.in/gmBt8kmB

You've been booed!* In honor of SparkToro being available in the US, UK, and Canada, we researched the audiences that search the keyword "halloween costume." The differences among these regions are SCARY.** Here's where people in US, UK, and Canada (likely) shopped for their Halloween costumes... US: Halloween Costumes Spirit Halloween Party City UK: Jokers' Masquerade Fancy Dress Morphsuits Canada: Spirit Halloween Oya Costumes Party Expert What do you think, does this sound (f)right? *Let's be real. The only person getting "booed" right now is our chief social media officer Amanda Natividad for this candy-corny joke. **Obviously NOT scary. Witching you a fang-tastic Halloween, fiends!
