"AYÉYA is a mission first organization and represents women from West Africa that are using traditional methods to create our products. What we're doing is to make sure that people have a place where they can aggregate what they're cultivating or gathering and then be able to sell it at a price that they can support their communities with. AYÉYA's relationship with Whole Foods Market is about share values, working towards one common goal: to ensure that the communities in America have healthy product and the communities who are making the product in West Africa are able to put a meal on their table everyday. With Whole Foods, we have a platform to distribute this product, allowing us to create impact on the ground", Olowo-n'djo Tchala. "AYÉYA truly embodies Olowo-n'djo Tchala tireless dedication to always doing good. This brand empowers women in Africa to bring hand-crafted home & personal care products to the U.S through West-African methods" ❤️
How often does a pre-revenue brand secure a launch with 45 SKUs globally in Whole Foods Market? When Olowo-n'djo Tchala is behind the brand 🇿🇦🇹🇬 Olo’s latest brand AYÉYA truly embodies his tireless dedication to always doing good. This brand empowers women in Africa to bring hand-crafted and Fair-Trade home & personal care products to the U.S through West-African methods. Olo’s leadership & impact-focused supply chain secured through his first brand Alaffia have empowered the West African community - 17 schools built supporting 18,000 students (with a 90% graduation rate!), funded thousands of safe births, and employed 250,000 women over the past 20+ years. These numbers will only continue to flourish thanks to AYÉYA. Even more remarkable though is Olo’s heart of gold. This man is on earth to create and do good, and each person that has the privilege to meet him feels his love & authenticity. Beyond excited to be supporting AYÉYA, Olo, Chris Robb, and team with this incredible legacy they’ve built! #ayeya #fairtrade #impactinvesting Chris Robb Adam Spriggs Olowo-n'djo Tchala The Angel Group

It was a true privilege to get to work with Olowo-n'djo Tchala on the launch of his new #WholeBody line, called AYÉYA, which means "life in balance." Ayeya was a recent recipient of one of Whole Foods Market's #smallbusinessloans -- one of our largest yet. Our goal was to support this brand's launch in stores -- happening this month! 📅 -- and provide financial support to a company with whom we have shared values, including ethical sourcing practices and community empowerment. Please enjoy this piece about this special company, its mission, products, and launch at Whole Foods Market. And keep an eye out for AYÉYA products on your next visit to our stores! #TeamWFM https://lnkd.in/ghc2BR_C
