The study involved planning and coordinating focus groups, conducting in-depth research and sourcing contemporary material. I utilised the perspectives of other academics as well as providing my own founded conclusions. This project was 100% independent, from the subject choice, through to research and presentation.

Company Rebrand
I joined the company in February 2012 with a view to completely overhaul the branding, website and company name. Over a period of 8 months, I worked with an external agency and our internal design studio to produce a new branding concept and website with added services.
The Chairman and National Sales Manager had concepts for additional online services including Personalised Portals and a Create Your Own Service which I made a reality.

The project involved a lot of effort in gaining buy-in from key stakeholders within the company including the MD, Chairman and Operations department, as well as everyone else within the company.
The entire building, along with stationery, company vehicles and promotional materials had to be completely re-designed and produced.
The rebrand date of 18th October was set at the beginning of the project and this was achieved.Other creators -

If the words "please create a charity marketing strategy" scare you, read this 😬 Over the years, management consultants - from Boston Consulting Group through Deloitte to McKinsey and beyond - have successfully positioned 'strategy' as something so terrifyingly complex that only they and their Harvard graduate consultants can perform it (in return for £1,000 per hour fees). The truth is that anyone with a good understanding of their organisation and the environment it operates in can craft a decent strategy with a bit of guidance. That includes those performing marketing roles in non-profits who are tasked with putting together a charity marketing strategy. In our latest blog, we attempt to demistify strategy once-and-for-all, whilst outlining a 5 step process for creating a charity marketing strategy. I hope you find it useful. How many interactions does it take before a potential customer trusts you? 3 Touchpoints = Recognition You're introducing your brand or service to the prospect at this early stage. After three touchpoints, the prospect begins to recognise your brand's name or what you offer. This can be through advertisements, social media posts, emails, or any initial outreach. 7 Touchpoints = Familiarity When you've reached out or made impressions seven times, the prospect has a general sense of who you are and what you do. They have moved from mere recognition to a stage of familiarity. They may consider further exploring your products or services, visiting your website, or following you on social media. 27 Touchpoints = Trust Building trust takes time. After roughly twenty-seven touchpoints, a prospect has had enough interaction with your brand to start trusting you. They might be ready to purchase, recommend you to others, or engage in a more profound relationship. This is a rule of thumb and varies from industry to industry and person to person. You can use this as an example and call to action for what you should consider measuring and examining in your business. Our sustainable marketing focus started with writing our first book, we then became committed to keeping the conversation and solutions going. That led us to create a podcast, develop training programmes and professional qualifications to support the ongoing education and awareness of Marketers (there are approx 10.6M so we've got our work cut out).
