TechNExt will showcase the businesses of the North East and engage our communities. Through a festival of events, the flagship programme and the community designed and led fringe events, TechNExt will serve as a showcase of the diversity, achievements and range of tech businesses in the North East, helping to drive the message that the North East is a region that is passionate about supporting, developing and growing its tech sector for the benefit of everyone. TechNExt will take place 16-20 June 2025, with 3,000 attendees estimated to attend over 5 days of events across the region.

During #TechNExt24 , founders from Ignite Accelerator joined us as part of the festival fringe. The 15 teams that are part of the latest NE Pre-Accelerator cohort have been working incredibly hard to push their businesses forward, and as the 2024 programme comes to an end, they shared and celebrated their progress and success with the tech community.

The European art duo provided a peek into their unique creative process, showcasing how they utilise live simulation, performance capture, installation, and moving images to create immersive virtual realities.
