Opencast has been successful in securing a place on the government’s new Digital Capability for Health 2 (DCfH2) framework, in collaboration with its partners Axiologik, Bluesmith Information Systems and RedRock Consulting. Opencast’s admission to the framework, confirmed this month by the Crown Commercial Service (CCS), means we’re better placed to deliver on our commitment to support UK public health and care organisations in their work to provide innovative digital solutions for better patient outcomes. We look forward to working with public healthcare customers to deliver on their digital transformation journey. What do businesses need to know about new cyber legislation? New cyber legislation from both the EU and the UK will significantly shape the future of data protection for UK organisations – with higher fines and penalties for organisations that fail to comply. Despite Brexit, the new EU legislation - NIS2 and DORA - will apply to UK organisations that operate inside the EU. And the UK's new Cyber Security and Resilience legislation will impose requirements on most UK public, private or non-profit bodies.
