❗ The number of young drivers illegally using their phone to text, call, voice note or, shockingly, even video chat is at its highest rate in 8 years. People who drive for work may find themselves under pressure to multi-task, especially during the festive season rush. But it’s important to remember that managing these risks, in conjunction with often-tricky winter weather conditions, results in a safer environment for all road users. If you’re planning on drinking alcohol as part of your festive celebrations, be safe, and think about your journey home. Consuming alcohol and driving don’t mix and ruins lives. Nominate a designated driver, use public transport where possible, or taxi share. Our advice is to always stick with ‘none for the road'. ✨ We wish you a happy and safe festive season.

We all know that to keep and build our physical fitness we need to exercise regularly. We don't wait until we're injured to start and if we stop, we know our physical fitness will decline. No matter our path in life, our brain is our greatest tool to thrive. So, why don't we treat our mental fitness with the same proactive and preventative approach as our physical fitness? Enabling us to thrive through the challenges and opportunities of work and wider life. Great to join the IAM RoadSmart team off site last week to run The Mental Fitness Workout workshop.
