Bryn was just a month away from his 19th birthday when he was killed by a drunk driver. Last month his family organised a charity evening in his memory, raising an incredible £2,020 for Brake. Bryn's sister Vicki said: "Bryn was such a happy popular lad with a heart of gold, he really would do anything for anyone. His cheeky smile would light up any room, quite the little joker, loved a laugh, in such a short life he touched so many people’s lives." We'd like to congratulate Eve, who took part in the New York Marathon in November, to raise funds for Brake. Eve recently lost two friends in a road crash and wanted to fundraise in their memory. She reached out to us to offer her support, and we are so grateful she did! Baroness Newlove, The Victims’ Commissioner for England and Wales, has launched the 2024 Victims' Survey. The survey gives you the opportunity to share your views about the criminal justice system and the support you've received. Completing the survey will help to ensure that future victims receive the support and justice outcomes they need. This year, Brake launched its Road Victims' Charter, which demands essential actions to ensure that everyone affected by road crashes receives the respect, support and justice they deserve.
