We are pleased to announce our further investment in 200+ vehicles with long-time supplier Renault Truck Commercials. BJS Home Delivery will see an additional 145+, 3.5T platform chassis vans, with bodies built by TRUCKSMITH® LIMITED, joining the fleet to keep up with the demand from the clients they partner with, including DUSK.com, Beyond Retail (UK) and CDA Domestic Appliances. An additional five electric vans have also joined the Home Delivery fleet, with a number of HGV electrification projects underway with Renault to ensure that the group are ahead of the curve. Harinder Singh, Managing Director at BJS said: “This investment means we can maintain our exceptional level of service across all of our brands, while giving us the much needed capacity to keep up with our growing client base. We choose Renault Trucks UK because our relationship is strong and the product is perfectly suited to our requirements, with a variety of vehicles to suit each aspect of our businesses. Maintaining this partnership with Renault has been crucial for us, and the working relationship we have with the team means we can look to the future with confidence." For BJS Haulage and Construct IT, 70 new vehicles are joining the group, once again opting for a mixture of the Renault T range across their core HGV fleet, utilised for general and construction haulage respectively, along with C range cabs for the Construct IT tipper fleet. Citing Renault’s reliability, efficiency, and familiarity as the main selling point, and with the new T range fitted with the Renault Turbo Compound technology, which was trialled by BJS last year, the new fleet will bring improved performance, better fuel economy, and reduced CO2 emissions helping them towards their sustainability goals.
