December, the month of reflection and planning for 2025. We're reshaping a lot as an agency to meet demand, remain fluid & agile. One thing that's heavily cemented into the business is growth and results, December is no different. These are some of the reports I've seen going out to our clients last week: - A hospitality client is seeing a reduction of 21% in CPA, 18% uplift in conversions on a 5% reduction in budget - thanks to Matt B.'s hard work. - Ellen Chambers has grown a Newcastle based business over 202% in non-branded traffic + subsequent sales through sheer hard work. - Oliver Hare & Steph Blick have grown a major sofa brand into 30% non-branded growth on the back of negative performance - amazing win. - Jack Coleman has been working tirelessly on for a client in a hyper competitive space - pushing into border line record levels of results and smashing last years performance. - Steph Blick has taken a high street brand in London over 250% organic growth and 50% increase in organic revenue. - Blanaid May has put her heart and soul into Black Friday offers with the team this year and delivered some incredible results - I think I can speak for all clients who work with Blanaid how lucky they are to have her on the account. - Shannon Lavis has taken a cocktail business into 60% growth in organic clicks - having only worked on the account for 2 months. - Ross McLawrence delivered a 180% uplift in ROAS for a new client within 1 month of working on the account. - Victor Stasiak and Ellen Chambers have taken a client in the solar industry to over 800% uplift in non-branded clicks (and they are quite a big brand in solar). - Chloe Milne has taken a big brand in the fashion industry to over 175% increase in non-branded clicks - ranking on page one for "designer trainers". - Dany for making a big impact in his first month in the SEO team, a wonderful proactive attitude and grasping SEO in quite a short matter of time. & lastly but not least, Cameron Keegan-Wood for building our new business pipeline to record levels for 2025, Linden Parkins and Vicky for accounts support/admin and me, for remembering to turn into work every day and bring my lunch with me. What an incredible team doing incredible work; so pleased I get to work with them everyday.

2025 is already shaping up nicely, with some client wins in the bag (more on this soon!) and 3 nods at the prestigious #NorthernDigitalAwards! 🏆 Our work with MALLET London has made the cut in the Best Digital Marketing Campaign (Retail) and Best Integrated Campaign categories, plus we're up for Best Small Agency, which is an achievement in itself this early on. Thanks to the team at Don't Panic Events and the Judges, and big congrats to our fellow finalists. We'll see you in Manchester next month 🥂 Read all about it on the blog... #digitalmarketingawards #digitalmarketingagency #ecommercemarketing

Shane Parkins asked me to post this after feeling self concious he was spamming …so he asked me so he can vicariously spam through me 👀😩😂 3 part story, fairy tale ending #Naturally Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let…the cat out the bag on who sorted your SEO out? The client (possibly Rapunzel) - Problematic migration - Best at what they do - Under-visible in search - Tried other providers in the past The solution: Steph Blick has done everything she possibly can to help this business and we can see incredible non-brand performance, making a very real difference to an amazing British brand. The cost: When SEO agencies are increasing retainers to minimums of £5k and £6k - we’re starting on projects for £1.2k… Send me a Dominos festive pizza and maybe we could start for a little less… Unlike me, Climb & Conquer aren’t greedy. Hi 👋

How do you know you're building something special? It delivers special results. Another monster campaign from the incredible Steph Blick, very intimidating for their competitors. Not allowed to go into the weekend until you read another one of we're good at SEO posts. This client: - Problematic migration - Best at what they do - Under-visible in search - Tried other providers in the past Steph has done everything she possibly can to help this business and we can see incredible non-brand performance, making a very real difference to an amazing British brand. P.s. this level of results came from an annual SEO investment of under £50k. Enjoy your weekend

Some of our team attended their first industry awards ceremony last night, the North East Marketing Awards 🏆 We were incredibly proud to be named as one of the finalists for the Best Agency (under 20 employees) category. The competition was fierce, so to even be shortlisted is an immense achievement so early in our agency's story. Congratulations to The Unknown Creative who picked up the award, and well done to all the other winners on the night. It was so inspiring to hear about the work you've delivered and the results you achieved. Special shout out to Altogether Creative, the biggest winners of the night! Big thanks to the judges and organisers for putting on such a great celebration of the Marketing scene in the North East and onwards to next year! 💪 #northeastmarketingawards #northeastbusiness #digitalagencylife

Blanaid May, Matt B., Victor Stasiak, Oliver Hare and Lauren Archer Etherington are heading to the North East Marketing Awards tonights - Climb & Conquer has been nominated for the Agency of the Year (under 20 staff). After a sheer exhausting Black Friday, in a good way, it'll be good for some of the SEO and Ads teams to blow off steam. If you're there tonight, be sure to have a chat with the guys - you'll likely find them at the bar 🍻

I posted yesterday about SEO countering dwindling brand performance - you can over power a businesses organic performance with non-brand. Their new customers crank right up, orders crank right up and they become a much more effective player in their industry. I'll put a link to the previous post about this and an example on how we increase someone's new customer base by more than double - generating almost £100k additional organic revenue in each month. As much as we like to, we can't grow all businesses by 6-figures every month, this is a smaller SEO client and it's managed by the amazing Steph Blick - one of our longest serving SEO's and she's incredible at her job and every single one of her clients are heading to the moon. This client has lower branded performance this month, Steph has locked onto non-brand, introducing new clients to this business through search terms from people wanting their product, winning their sale and changing the dynamics of the business. £6,000 additional revenue here, no strong BF offers, non-brand growing the business and with the influx of new customers, they will start and become brand searches as we increase their customer base. The client is spending around £20k per year on SEO and been with us a relatively short wile, starting with us in negative growth. It's Shopify eCom. Cameron Keegan-Wood - Cam's the guy you want to be speaking to if you want this level of growth. P.s. non-brand can change your averages, AOV may change as you're targeting new markets with new commercial behaviours - don't worry this client is in safe hands and we'll manage expectations and keep them up dated every step of the way.

NEWS JUST IN! 📣 We're delighted to have just secured our Living Wage Foundation Accreditation, highlighting our commitment to being a responsible employer and remunerating our team fairly for the amazing work they do. We're one of a handful of North East businesses in the Marketing/Digital sector to be doing this, alongside the likes of Drummond Central and Explain Market Research, so we're in great company. Shout out to Shane Parkins for being the type of business owner who is always trying to ensure that team members thrive rather than just survive, particularly within this challenging economic landscape.
