Last Friday, our Security and Certification teams from Valence had the pleasure of participating in CSAW Europe 2024, an exciting event dedicated to fostering talent in the field of cybersecurity. This year’s edition was packed with remarkable activities: 🔍 Intense competitions where university finalists from various countries showcased their skills in cybersecurity challenges, while younger participants from middle and high schools competed in their own finals. The energy and talent displayed by the students were truly inspiring! 🎙️ Thought-provoking conferences led by experts, including representatives from ANSSI - Agence nationale de la sécurité des systèmes d'information, Mathieu Delaplace and European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA), Chloé Blondeau focusing on the latest European cybersecurity trends and challenges. 🛠️ Interactive workshops where we hosted a hands-on simulation game, "Attack a Payment Terminal", as part of our commitment to cybersecurity education. Participants stepped into the shoes of an attacker, experiencing firsthand the complexities of defending payment systems. With over 10 sessions held throughout the day, the workshop engaged around 120 students in a fun yet educational experience, underscoring the importance of secure payment solutions. 🤝 Networking & knowledge sharing among students, researchers, industry experts, and policymakers. It was an incredible opportunity to meet and engage with Europe’s future cybersecurity leaders! A big thank you to the CSAW Europe - Cyber Security Awareness Week Europe - Grenoble INP - ESISAR and Grenoble INP Esisar for making this event possible and for including us in this impactful initiative.
