Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are enjoying more than just screw-top rosé with Taylor Swift

The Deadpool & Wolverine stars, who partnered with Heineken Silver for its new “All The Taste, No Bitter Endings″ campaign, tell PEOPLE exclusively that in the spirit of the ad, the music icon is absolutely somebody they’d invite to share a beverage.

“Taylor Swift is a fun person to have a beer with,” affirmed Reynolds, to which Jackman quipped: “Who?”

“Well, if you get access to outside information — once you leave the bomb shelter — you'll understand. Huge politician,” jokes Reynolds. “And one of the funnier people. People keep asking if she's in the movie, and I keep saying if there's ever someone else to play Deadpool, I think it might actually be Taylor.”

Reynolds has a well-documented friendship with the superstar: His daughters James, Inez and Betty are all famously referenced in Swift’s Folklore track, “Betty," and his wife Blake Lively is one of Swift’s closest friends.

So when asked who the bigger celebrity is in his household — Deadpool or Swift — Reynolds doesn't hesitate.

"Oh, Taylor Swift," he says. "Do you think I'm a fool? Taylor Swift. Taylor Swift all the way."

In Deadpool & Wolverine, which was directed by Shawn Levy, Reynolds — who portrays the masked superhuman mercenary — teams up with Jackman’s Wolverine for a new mission.

The film is based on the Marvel comics featuring the same characters, and Reynolds is quick to note that Swift is anything but an anti-hero.

"She uses her powers for good — could use them for bad — but uses them a different way,” he says. “[She's] one of the funniest people you'll meet.”

In the campaign ad, Reynolds' Deadpool propositions Wolverine with a truce amid an argument they're having by presenting his fellow hero with two Heinekens for them to enjoy together.

"See?" Deadpool asks as the pair sit side by side with their beers. "Isn't this better than fighting?"

"Nope," Wolverine quips as Deadpool moves to put his hand on his pal's shoulder.

Offscreen, Heineken isn't the only thing that serves to unite the longtime friends.

Jackman — who cheered on Swift's boyfriend Travis Kelce alongside Reynolds and the pop superstar last year at the Chiefs-Jets game — very much agrees with his friend when it comes to inviting Swift to share a beer. "I can concur,” Jackman says. “She's very funny.”

And speaking of bitter endings, both Reynolds and Jackman noted that wrapping Deadpool & Wolverine was just that.

"Usually, you're just thrilled to be done. This one? No. I had depression when we finished our actual photography," says Reynolds.

"It's hard," adds Jackman. "Thankfully, we're all together promoting it and we are taking in every second because it's such a rare thing. Shawn also, the director, the three of us are like the three amigos. We live close by. We hang out together, so shooting the movie, prepping the movie, now promoting the movie together? Yeah, [the end] is bittersweet."
