Both actors shared a video to their Instagram Stories on Tuesday, Nov. 5, showing them onstage with the movie's director Shawn Levy at a recent screening and Q&A for the film in Los Angeles. In the clip, the trio discussed how difficult it is to step out of full superhero costumes to use the bathroom while filming and joked about each others' cup sizes. "It was a full strip down?" Levy, 56, asked as the clip began, while Reynolds, 48, explained that the costume he wore for 2016's original Deadpool movie did not have a zipper. "It was like whoa, okay, Ryan has to pee, so we lost the day," he joked. "[There is] technically a fly, but a fly normally in a garment just makes it easier," Jackman, 56, added of wearing full-coverage superhero costumes on set. "It's still a miracle to get anything it's like six. . . I don't even know." "But you're using a number five cup. I'm using like a number eight cup, and then when you showed up on set the second day I think I went to sixteen," Reynolds jested, as Jackman doubled over with laughter. "And then there was an intervention and I went back to the four." "I don't know what you're talking about — what cup?" Jackman responded. Reynolds answered, "Wait, you weren't wearing one? That's just how it is?" Hugh Jackman Weighs in on Martha Stewart's Comments About Ryan Reynolds: 'Finally Someone Says It' From left: Shawn Levy, Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds on Nov. 5. Ryan Reynolds/Instagram Reynolds, Jackman and Levy are still enjoying a victory lap following the smash success of Deadpool & Wolverine, which is the highest-grossing R-rated movie of all time at the box office. The movie pitted Reynolds' popular meta superhero character Deadpool against Jackman's iconic X-Men character Wolverine in an action-packed story that paid tribute to many past Marvel films made under 20th Century Studios. Jay Maidment/20th Century Studios “I’m writing a movie for myself, Hugh [Jackman] and Shawn [Levy] to do that is not Marvel," Reynolds said on an upcoming episode of the outlet's Awards Circuit podcast. He did not expand on any of his plans for the film, beyond that it will not take place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe or feature Deadpool. According to IMDb, Reynolds is co-writing a movie titled Boy Band that Levy is attached to as a director. It is unclear if that project is related to the movie he teased to Variety. Close
