I don’t talk to her that often though,” Thornton, 61, told Entertainment Tonight at a recent press junket for his new movie Bad Santa 2. “We’re still very good friends, but she’s got her world. I’ve got mine.” Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in September, citing irreconcilable differences. Thornton married Jolie in 2000 and the two divorced three years later. However, Thornton told ET that he still spends time with his ex. “Once in a blue moon we come together,” Thornton said of his current friendship with 41-year-old Jolie. “Every now and then we talk, you know? Whatever. But when people are going through their trials and tribulations I try to leave them alone unless they want to talk to me.” He added: “In other words, I figure it’s none of my business. Unless someone makes it my business, it’s none of my business.” RELATED VIDEO: Brad Pitt Files for Joint Physical Custody of Kids in Angelina Jolie Divorce Response “I never felt good enough for her,” the Bad Santa 2 star recently told GQ about their time together. In the weeks following their split, Jolie and Pitt, 52, have tangled over custody of their six children: Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8.
