On Wednesday, she and her country singer husband, Chris Lane, stepped out for the 57th Annual CMA Awards wearing glamorous looks only fitting for the glitzy, star-studded affair. Styled by Krista Roser, the mom of two, 33, looked striking in a vintage Zac Posen teal strapless gown featuring a mini ruffle train, Paul Andrew heels and bling from King Jewelers. The dress' eye-catching color complemented her new brunette locks, which were styled into a half-up hairdo complete with mermaid waves. The Bachelor alum's vibrant look was the perfect counterpart to her husband's traditional black-and-white Michael Andrews suit, styled by Roser, who added a Brooks Brothers bow tie, Aldo shoes and a Rolex watch to the musician's ensemble. Lauren teased her new hair transformation on Instagram just hours before the big reveal, but didn't share details until she hit the red carpet. "About two weeks ago I went a little darker, and my goal with my hair dresser is to let my natural hair keep growing out. That way it's not that much time in the [salon] chair, [and I have] a little healthier hair, which is kinda the thing right now," she told PEOPLE exclusively on the red carpet. She also noted that her hair's new ashy brown hue is similar to her natural color, despite her sporting blonde hair for years. Her darker hair is definitely a hit with Chris, 39, who gushed, "I actually really like this color. I think it looks great." And thankfully her little ones, sons Baker West, 1, and Dutton Walker, 2, are slowly adjusting to their mom's change in appearance. "They recognize me with my hair drastically changing," Lauren said. The kids did, however, have a more shocking reaction to her bold gown. "They barely recognized me when I put on this dress. I came out and Dutton looked at me, and you can tell he was taken aback, and he started laughing. He does not see me dressed up very often."
