Jerry O'Connell Responds to Eyebrow Hate by Letting Wife Rebecca Romijn 'Deal with’ Them: ‘You Like?’

Jerry O'Connell finally gave into his eyebrow haters — well, sort of.

After years of ribbing over his thick brows, The Talk co-host and actor finally got a comment that inspired him to respond to the hate — with a little help from wife Rebecca Romijn.

The straw that broke the camel’s back? A user on X (formerly known as Twitter) who replied to a video of O'Connell, 50, by asking him to “trim” his eyebrows. Specifically, the user requested that he model his brows after his 1997 role as Derek in Scream 2 — but the actor responded with more than just a trim.

With help of Romijn — a nod to one of his eyebrow hater’s comments, “I can’t believe your wife thinks they are okay” — O'Connell fired back with an Instagram post shared on Tuesday, Oct. 29.

In the first slide, the Stand by Me actor first included a screenshot of the X post that inspired the post, and in the second, he included a picture of Romijn, 51, eyeing up his brows, as if she is about to shape them.

The photo shows the model holding a pair of tweezers in one hand as she touches one of her husband’s eyebrows with the other, sizing it up.

Then, in the final slide, O'Connell included a selfie in which he rocks a pair of ultra-thin eyebrows, giving him a startling (and practically unrecognizable) appearance.

Although the actor appeared to give in to the hater’s request — down to the ‘90s-inspired, pencil-thin brows, à la Drew Barrymore — the transformation does not appear to be permanent, as he was back to his usual bushy brows on The Talk the following day.

“SICK OF THIS,” O’Connell captioned the joke post. “SWIPE to see @rebeccaromijn finally deal with this. You like?”

People did not, unfortunately, like the actor’s new look — that was the consensus in the comments, at least.

His Stand by Me costar Wil Wheaton wrote, “That's gonna be a no from me, dawg,” while another person dubbed the thin-brow selfie “a jump scare.”

"Stawwwwp, no!” one comment said, adding that the actor will “need a sharpie.”

Other comments, meanwhile, praised O’Connell’s natural brows — and his wife of 17 years for helping him clap back at the hate. “OMG no 🤣 no one mess with the brows,” one person wrote, and another joked, “I like ‘em thick. I like ‘em CHUNKY.”

"I hope you guys stay together forever,” another read, referring to Romijn. “She gets you and you make her laugh 🤣 love it and I love her more for loving you just the way you are ❤️.”
