The two musicians joined forces for a high-energy version of the holiday carol "Go Tell It on the Mountain" for this year's CMA Country Christmas special, and PEOPLE can exclusively share a clip from the upcoming performance. Wilson, 31, wore a red-and-green plaid look complete with her signature bell bottoms and a wide-brimmed hat for the Nashville event, while Williams, 45, sported a brown fringe jacket with matching shoes as well as black pants and a black brimmed hat. His duet partner said it's a "crazy" experience to perform the classic Christmas song with Williams. "I’ve been a fan of yours for a really long time," explained Wilson, "and getting to do ‘Go Tell It on the Mountain’ — which, I grew up going to Baskin Baptist Church, and every single year around this time, this is what we would sing." Williams agreed: "This is an honor for me. I’m a big fan, and so getting a chance to do this song and then just be here and be a part of CMA Country Christmas. Grant and Yearwood will cohost CMA Country Christmas, which airs Thursday at 8 p.m. on ABC and will become available to stream on Hulu and Disney+ the following day.
