Perry is the latest celebrity to pledge their fandom to Charli’s already epic Brat era. Since dropping her sixth studio album on June 7, the "360" singer, 31, has seen famous folks like Ashley Tisdale, Brooke Shields, Kerry Washington and the cast of TwistersGlen Powell, Daisy Edgar-Jones and Anthony Ramos — take on her viral “Apple” dance inspired by the album cut.

Even Vice President Kamala Harris’ newly-launched presidential campaign adopted the Brat summer trend after Charli declared on X (formerly Twitter) that the politician “IS Brat.”

Charli spoke on the viral allure of Brat for her recent Billboard cover story, where she discussed playing with the idea of “inclusivity and exclusivity" as a key part of her latest album era. "I like the marketing of pop music more than I am interested in actual pop music," she explained of the Brat craze.

“With Brat, it was really interesting to just do things for the fan base and make that feel exclusive — but then once you’re in the club, it’s actually very inclusive,” she continued. “Actually, everyone can join the club. It’s just that everybody joins at slightly different times in slightly different ways — whether that be on my private Instagram posts, or the 400-person Boiler Room, or a random cinema screening of a new music video in [Los Angeles], or a text message from me.”

As previously announced, Charli told fans on X that “brat summer is only just beginning :)." What that entails exactly is still a mystery, but the star is heading out on the road with Troye Sivan this fall to perform her Brat songs on their joint headlining tour titled Charli XCX & Troye Sivan present: Sweat. The first show kicks off in Detroit on Sept. 14, while the final one will be held in Seattle on Oct. 23.
