Woods and Towns’ four-year anniversary comes on the heels of the latter’s team, the Minnesota Timberwolves, advancing to the Western Conference NBA Finals. The basketball star’s girlfriend celebrated his 98-90 win against the Denver Nuggets Sunday night by penning a sweet tribute post on Instagram.

“Western Conference Finals!!! Are you kidding me!?!? Couldn’t be happier for this team and most importantly Karl,” Woods wrote alongside photos of the two embracing after the game, which Towns reposted on his Instagram Stories.

"He has over come so much adversity to get to the point in his career, let alone knee surgery earlier this season,” she added. “I am so proud and in awe of him. 🥲 This is your moment! 🐺🤞🏽❤️.”

Towns and Woods, who were introduced by a mutual friend "years ago,” went public with their relationship in September 2020 by making it Instagram official. The latter captioned a series of photos of the couple cozied up on the beach, “I found you, then I found me🤍.”

Speaking about their romance to Extra shortly after, Woods revealed that she and Towns "connected about losing a parent at a very young age.″ The model’s father, John Woods, died in 2017 after being diagnosed with cancer. Meanwhile, Towns' mother, Jacqueline Towns, died at age 59 in 2020 after a weeks-long battle with coronavirus.

″So, it was a very organic relationship that we'd been best friends for a while," Woods explained of falling for her beau.

Towns has previously shared similar sentiments about his romance with Woods. He opened up about it on his Instagram Stories in January 2021 when a fan asked, "How do you stay so strong after overcoming so much?"

"My woman has held me down more than the world knows,” the power forward shared. “From my mother and family members dying (1 on her bday in Cabo), getting hit by a drunk driver (was 2pm in the afternoon FYI) in LA this Off-Season and staying with me in the hospital for the night and helping me in rehab, to this stint with COVID she has been there with me every step of the way and stayed 10 toes down.”

Speaking more about Woods to PEOPLE in February, the athlete gushed that having his girlfriend’s support "on a daily basis," on and off the court, "is truly special to me."

“You know, with my mom and my sister, I’ve seen the impact that good women have on men’s lives,” he added, “and I'm just blessed that I saw that firsthand before I got with Jordyn so that I could learn to appreciate her."
