JoJo Siwa may have moved past her "JoJo Bows" phase of life, but that doesn't mean she doesn't still have all her bows stashed away for sentimental reasons.

She absolutely does.

The singer, dancer and internet personality said at Rhode Island Comic-Con on Nov. 1 that she's held onto the bows that she became so well-known for as a child.

"They're hanging out," Siwa, 21, said of her hair accessories during a panel. "They're in my studio still. It was the day after my 18th birthday, and I just decided ... I'm not going to wear this every day anymore. It was very natural how I felt at the time."

Siwa went on to say that part of her wishes that she could just "wake up" and put on a bow again, especially because she's back to her long hair after cutting it short and shaving the sides in 2022. But even though she has the hair for it, she says she "really couldn't."

The Dance Moms alum did say, however, that despite wearing her blonde hair tightly pulled back into ponytails and tied into bows over the years, her hair was not damaged. And her decision to cut it off and do a "cool" undercut and shave wasn't due to damage either. She just wanted a change.

Something else that changed as Siwa grew up was her style. In the last couple years, she's been upping the ante over and over again with her bold fashion choices — wearing everything from a giant fur ball to New York Fashion Week to a Britney Spears-coded sheer catsuit for a music video.

She told PEOPLE in September that she just likes to have fun with fashion.

"I think for me, when I’m finding a style, it's 'How can I be so messed up, so weird, so whack?'" she said in an episode of PEOPLE's Rules for Life series. Making heads turn is often her goal and she always wants others to ask themselves, “Why is she wearing that, what is she doing, what is she wearing now?” when they see her looks. “It’s a fun game for me to play,” she added.
