Channing Tatum just blessed everyone’s Instagram feed with a selfie of his new look.

On Nov. 13, the Magic Mike star, 44, posted a selfie showing off a goatee he’s been growing out for a new movie role.

The dad of one sports a red beanie, appearing to be topless, while photographing the growing facial hair now on his upper lip, chin and chiseled jawline.

“The only fun thing about 7am training sessions is when they are done bro,” Tatum wrote. “Also I sort of can't stand this dirt goatee I have for this character lol but it’s a vibe for the movie.”

Tatum’s post comes weeks after his split from Zoë Kravitz. On Oct. 29, multiple sources confirmed to PEOPLE that the two called off their engagement and went their separate ways after three years of dating.

Two weeks after their split, a source close to Tatum told PEOPLE that “he’s been doing well,” adding, "He's focused on a new movie project in [North Carolina]. And he's spending time with his daughter when he's off." He shares 11-year-old daughter, Everly, with ex-wife, actress Jenna Dewan.

According to WCNC Charlotte, Tatum is filming Roofman a true crime based on the case of rooftop robber Jeffrey Manchester — in North Carolina until December.

He’s also set to star in Alpha Gang alongside Kravitz. On Oct. 29, multiple outlets reported that they were cast in the movie just hours before PEOPLE broke the news of the pair's breakup.

Production insiders told PEOPLE on Nov. 1 that Tatum and Kravitz will move forward with the project, which also stars Cate Blanchett, Dave Bautista, Steven Yeun and Riley Keough, despite the split.

"They will continue to work together and are excited about a new project. They both love filming and creating," a source said at that time. Channing has a lot of respect for Zoë's focus and passion."
