"I like to go visit with everyone. I love live television. I get to sing a song, see what everybody else is promoting, their new material, but basically just to get to see my old friends and meet new people," the 69-year-old “Fancy” singer told PEOPLE ahead of the ceremony. And the awards show served as a bit of a reunion for McEntire and Stefani, who both previously served as judges on The Voice. Gwen Stefani and Reba McEntire. "The country lane — I'm taking over for Blake so I'm gonna represent country music. [He's got] big boots. I don't know what size those boots are, but they're big, so I'm gonna really work hard to make him proud," the “I’m a Survivor” hitmaker told PEOPLE in May 2023. McEntire also shared how the "Just a Girl" artist inspired her to take more fashion risks. "I do understand that I need to go razzle-dazzle with Gwen being on there," she said. "Gwen's always got the nicest outfits, so I really need to step up my game on that." Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani at the Keep Memory Alive Power of Love Gala in Las Vegas on May 10.
