The Voice coach will release her fifth studio album, Bouquet, on Nov. 15, her first new record in seven years, she announced on Wednesday, Sept. 18. “my fifth studio album, 'Bouquet’, will be in full bloom on November 15th 💐,” she wrote on social media. Stefani, 54, added that the album’s first single, “Somebody Else’s,” will be released at midnight ET on Friday, Sept. 20. Though “Somebody Else’s” appears to have a rock-inspired sound, Stefani went country for the Bouquet album cover, as it features her holding a white flower with a sultry look on her face while rocking a cowboy hat and brown plaid suit. Bouquet will feature 10 songs, and many have a flower theme, like “Empty Vase,” “Marigolds” and “Purple Irises,” a duet with husband Blake Shelton that she released in February. Gwen Stefani Celebrates Son Zuma's 16th Birthday with Sweet Throwback Photos: 'We Love U SO Much' The rocker has been teasing the album over the last month, sharing a throwback photo of a young girl smelling flowers on Sept. 6 and commenting, “Hummmmmm?” Three days later, she shared timelapse footage of a flower in bloom, and on Sept. 11, she released the first snippet of “Somebody Else’s.” The new album marks the first record from Stefani since 2017, when she released a holiday album called You Make It Feel Like Christmas. The LP came one year after her third solo album, This Is What the Truth Feels Like. “I’m never going to write anything that’s not just completely reflective of what’s going on in my life,” she told PEOPLE in a cover story last year. “Before I wrote my first song, I was this dyslexic girl who didn’t know how I fit in. Then I was like, ‘Oh, this is my magic power.’ I’m so honored that I got the gift to be able to write music, and I take it super seriously.” Watch Snoop Dogg, Reba McEntire, Gwen Stefani and Michael Bublé Sing Together as The Voice Coaches for the First Time In the same story, she also secretly teased her new album Bouquet, as she described herself as a “garden flower nerd.” Stefani is currently back on The Voice as a coach for the show’s upcoming 26th season alongside Snoop Dogg, Reba McEntire and Michael Bublé. In April, she reunited with No Doubt at Coachella for the group’s first performance together since 2015. Close
