Who Said it? Liv Lo Golding to Henry Golding

The Last Christmas star is endlessly grateful that his now-wife-of-three-years made a move in "the club" at a New Year's Eve party. "I saw her from afar and she was like this wild cat — and I was kind of just getting over my hangover from the day previous — and I was like, 'I have no time nor energy to spend on getting to know this girl,'" he explained on Live with Kelly and Ryan.

Since he was failing to approach her, Lo Golding decided to shoot her shot "halfway through the night" as the actor was heading to the bathroom. "She just steps in my way and she's like, 'Why haven't you said hello to me yet? I'm leaving tomorrow and you're never going to see me again — what are you going to do about it?'" he said.

The lovebirds hit it off at brunch the next day, and made it through a long distance relationship between Tokyo and Singapore before tying the knot. "It's hot when a girl just takes you pretty much by the collar," Golding said of the strategy that started it all.

Who Said It? John Krasinski to Emily Blunt

Krasinski pulled off a marriage with one of the most basic lines possible. "It was one of those things where I wasn't really looking for a relationship," he told Ellen DeGeneres. "Then I met her, and I was so nervous. I was like, 'Oh god, I think I'm going to fall in love with her.' As I shook her hand I went, 'I like you!' So if anyone is looking to pick up a girl, that's the way to do it."
