That includes some of your favorite stars, who have rocked the clean-cut look over the years but have also allowed their facial hair to grow free at one point or another. So, what better time to see how the two looks compare? To shave or not to shave? That is the question! 01 of 15 Travis Kelce Travis Kelce. Kansas City Chiefs/YouTube; Kevin Sabitus/Getty Last football season fans watched as Travis Kelce's beard grew fuller and fuller sharing just before February's Super Bowl that he hadn't shaved it since Christmas. "I feel the power of [the beard]. I’ve been playing way better since I’ve been growing it," he told his brother Jason during an episode of their New Heights podcast. This season, he's looking more clean shaven though fear not — he's kept a well groomed 'stache. 02 of 15 Jason Bateman Jason Bateman. Jose Perez/Bauer-Griffin/GC Images; Ilya S. Savenok/Getty As the months grew hotter this summer it seemed as though Jason Bateman's beard grew bigger and bigger — possibly for his role in Black Rabbit. Bateman was first spotted with the fuller look back in January but was back to clean-shaven just as the air turned colder at the end of September. 03 of 15 George Clooney George Clooney. Eric Charbonneau/Apple TV+ via Getty; Mike Marsland/Getty After decades in the industry its no surprise George Clooney has tried his fair share of grooming styles. Being the silver fox that he is, Clooney often steps out with a bit more than a 5 o'clock shadow though he's no stranger to the clean-shaven look either. 04 of 15 Jason Momoa Jason Mamoa. Karwai Tang/WireImage; Jason Mamoa/YouTube Almost as famous as his flowing head of hair and tattoos is Jason Momoa's beard. In 2019, he shaved it off for the first time in seven years saying "it’s time to make a change,” and fans were shocked, to say the least. Since then, Momoa's signature beard has returned in full force and it seems it's here to stay. 05 of 15 Chris Hemsworth Chris Hemsworth. Tristan Fewings/Getty; Don Arnold/WireImage Chris Hemsworth rocks facial hair more often than not and even when he is not rocking a full beard, he still has a bit of stubble — as he did at the 2022 premiere of Spiderhead. 06 of 15 Johnny Sibilly Johnny Sibilly. Johnny Sibilly /Instagram; FilmMagic/FilmMagic for HBO/Max Hacks actor Johnny Sibilly is often rocking quite the sexy beard though he surprised fans in September as he stepped onto the red carpet for a special screening of Uglies sporting a clean-cut look that showed off his chiseled jawline. 07 of 15 Brad Pitt Brad Pitt. BEN STANSALL/AFP via Getty; Maria Moratti/Getty Like his pal George Clooney, after so many years in the business Brad Pitt has had many eras when it comes to his hairstyling. Though he still opts to keep his hair relatively long, he goes for a more clean-shaven look when it comes to his facial hair. In years past he's rocked a more rugged look, though, like this salt and pepper beard he sported in 2010. 08 of 15 Ben Affleck Ben Affleck. Jon Kopaloff/Getty; Bellocqimages/Bauer-Griffin/GC Images When he's not on the red carpet promoting his latest blockbuster, Ben Affleck is like to keep things casual while out and about in his everyday life. As part of his casual style, he has certainly wavered over the years between a bare face and rocking a beared. 09 of 15 John Krasinski John Krasinski. Dia Dipasupil/WireImage; FilmMagic Back in the days of The Office, audiences got to know John Krasinski as a fresh-faced Jim Halpert. In the years since, Krasinski has often rocked a scruffy look as he did at the 2018 premiere of A Quiet Place. 10 of 15 John Legend John Legend. Gilbert Flores/Variety via Getty; Trae Patton/NBC/NBCU Photo Bank via Getty When John Legend was crowned Sexiest Man Alive in 2019, he graced the cover with a close shave though these days he's been sporting thick — yet meticulously groomed — facial hair. 11 of 15 Ricky Martin Ricky Martin. Cristina Andina/Redferns; Alberto E. Rodriguez/WireImage Ricky Martin has been "Livin’ la Vida Loca" for years both with — and without— a beard. Though more recently he's opted for a fuller facial hair look, in years past, he's kept a clean shave. 12 of 15 Prince Harry Prince Harry. Max Mumby/Indigo/Getty; Cameron Smith/Getty And while it has become commonplace for his brother to sport facial hair, when Prince William appeared in a Aug. 11 video congratulating Team Great Britain on their performance at the 2024 Olympics with a beard, the internet got to talking. While he has appeared clean-shaven in the days since he's gone back to the facial hair as of late. 14 of 15 Bradley Cooper Bradley Cooper. OLI SCARFF/AFP via Getty; Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic Bradley Cooper let it all hang for his role as Jackson Maine in A Star Is Born, but that was hardly the first time he grew his facial hair for a role. Back in 2014, the actor also grew his beard for his role in American Sniper. Off-camera, Cooper keeps a close shave, though he has rocked a bare face years over the years. 15 of 15 Leonardo DiCaprio Leonardo DiCaprio. Andrew Burton/Getty; Jim Spellman/WireImage Equally as captivating in The Revenant was Leonardo DiCaprio's beard, which he says took him six months to grow. He would keep the beard for an "additional year after that" he told Ellen, before going back to a light stubble. Close
