Ashlee Simpson Ross Celebrates 10-Year Wedding Anniversary with Evan Ross: 'You Are My Sunshine'

Ashlee Simpson Ross and Evan Ross are celebrating a major milestone! 

The couple rang in their 10-year wedding anniversary on Sunday, Aug. 31, with heartfelt tributes to each other on Instagram.

Ashlee, 39, shared photos from their wedding day while reminiscing on the unfavorable weather that occurred during the occasion. "10 years ago I married the love of my life," she captioned the post. "The rain came on our wedding day and I needed to see you before. Nothing better."

The "Pieces of Me" singer continued to write that her husband brightened up her day. "You are my sunshine, and it came to shine on us as we got married. I love you forever. Thank you for completing my life," she added.

The first photo in the tribute shows the two sharing a kiss at their ceremony while their guests cheered. Next, they embrace while posing in their formal outfits. The rest of the photos are from moments throughout their wedding, many of which show their guests holding umbrellas. 

Evan, 36, also penned a tribute and posted throwback wedding snaps.

"10 Years!!! !!!!! Married to the love of my life. I cant believe it," he wrote in the caption. "It feels like yesterday. These 10 years have been the most amazing years. Thank you for all this love you have put in my life."

He made a post on his Instagram Stories on the same day that shows their family at a music festival. 

The couple — who began dating in July 2013 before getting married in 2014 — share two children together: daughter Jagger Snow, 9, and son Ziggy Blu, 3. Ashlee also shares son Bronx Mowgli, 15, with ex Pete Wentz.

The "Lala" singer recently spoke with PEOPLE about her long marriage. 

"I mean, we love each other," she said. "I think the secret is that we have grown together. And I think that if you can grow together and watch as we all change or evolve and stick together, that's probably the key to it all."

He shared similar sentiments about their marriage in June, telling PEOPLE that he believes it has lasted as long as it has because they "love each other, and it's meant to be."

In February, the couple teased the potential of growing their family.

"We'll see, but I think so," he said when asked if they were done having kids. "You never know."

She added, "He's open. I'm more like, 'Eh, I'm about to turn 40.’ But hey, never say never! I feel like once you get a kid in kindergarten, you're like, 'Am I done?' We'll always leave the door open."
