On Friday, the Grammy winner, 35, announced a final extension of her Weekends with Adele residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace into 2024. The singer-songwriter was scheduled to wrap up her shows this November, but will now perform 32 additional dates next year. The final leg of Weekends With Adele, which finds the superstar singing her classics and charming the crowd with banter, will kick off in mid-January. Starting Jan. 19, the “Hello” singer will perform at the Vegas venue every Friday and Saturday night through the end of March. I needed to reconnect with my songs and remember what they mean to me, and I have!” She continued, “Being on stage over the last year so up close and personal with an audience again after all these years has been a truly extraordinary restorative experience that I’ll never forget. All the simi dolls, friendship bracelets, flowers, facetime calls and flags,” she wrote. “It’s crazy how joyful a show full of sad songs can be!! I’ve felt so much and learned so much about myself and you. It’s humanized everything I thought was scary.” “Mostly though - it’s just made me realize how much I really enjoy being on stage, that I’m bloody good at it and that it is 100% where I belong!” she concluded. “So let’s go one last time before I turn into a showgirl forever! She performed through late 2022 and into 2023, eventually extending the residency into summer and fall 2023. Although no additional details have been revealed, when Adele announced the show’s first extension, she also teased a concert film. At the time, she was captured on stage explaining that she planned to film the concert and release the footage "to make sure that anyone who wants to see this show can see it." Registration for tickets to the final Weekends With Adele shows is available now through Oct. 23 at 10 p.m. PT. Once registration closes, fans will be selected at random to receive a code that gives them access to the official ticket sale, which begins on Oct. 26.
