  • 🚜 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗹? Our Southampton team, UK, recently handled a breakbulk shipment outside the ordinary! It was two vintage steam tractors named Giant Tiger and Giant Panther. Manufactured by John Fowler & Co. in Leeds, these refurbished tractors are now bound for a collector on the U.S. West Coast. “In my career with WW, I’m always fascinated by the incredibly wide spectrum of different types of cargo we can handle and ship. For me, it is very interesting when something different comes along to be shipped,” says Andre Linford, Sales Support Officer – UK & Ireland. It’s always exciting to see unique pieces of history like these making their way to new homes 🌊⚓

  • How do you turn challenges into opportunities in a rapidly changing logistics landscape? 🌍🚚 At the 10th edition of Automotive Logistics Mexico, held in Mexico City on November 12-14, Roberto Zavala, VP Mexico Operations at Wallenius Wilhelmsen shared our story alongside over 550 industry leaders. We showcased how Mexico’s logistics network evolved from relying on two main ports to a balanced four-port system and how we supported customers during the 2023 network collapse. By introducing a dedicated Mexico - US East Coast vessel service, deploying skilled teams, and enhancing vehicle tracking, we kept supply chains moving. Together with Nissan on stage, we demonstrated the power of collaboration in tackling critical industry challenges. 🤝 Looking to 2025, the resilience built into Mexico’s network ensures the industry is ready for what’s ahead. #WalleniusWilhelmsen #LogisticsInnovation #SupplyChainResilience #CollaborationInAction #AutomotiveLeadership
