This campaign is our commitment to ensuring everyone enjoys a safe and happy summer.,” says Harinder Multani, Safety Quality & Sustainability Manager - Oceania. So, this summer, let’s Dare to Be Aware! Stay safe, stay hydrated and enjoy the summer season 🌞

🌿 As an Anchor and Master of Ceremonies, I’ve seen how the right atmosphere can energize those present. But the most crucial atmosphere is the one we can’t always see—the health of the environment around us. 🌍 Today, on World Environmental Health Day, it’s not just about nature’s beauty; it’s about how the quality of our air, water, and surroundings affects our health and vitality. 🔍 For those confusing this with World Environment Day, here's the difference: 🌱 While World Environment Day celebrates the protection of ecosystems, World Environment Health Day is about focusing on how the environment directly impacts our health. Clean air to breathe, safe water to drink, a healthy earth to prosper on—it’s all connected to how we live and feel. 💚 Let’s make sure we care for the spaces that care for us, so every breath we take is one of wellness. 📸 The Pic: I always seek out those powerful pockets of nature that offer a sense of calm and renewal. This moment was captured during an emceeing assignment in beautiful Thailand, where the surroundings were as inspiring as the event itself. #Emceemusings #WorldEnvironmentHealthDay #Environment #CleanAir #SafeWater #Events #CorporateEmcee #MumbaiEmcee #Breathe #Nature #EventHostForChange

I don’t really talk about holidays and stuff but I’ve realized just how important an R & R is at some stage of the year. There’s so many things you can do. It’s important to take some time off from your busy schedules and relieve some stress. Obviously you’ve got to put the hard yards in for the R&R to be more meaningful. I love to travel so that’s my preferred R & R activity. Exploring cultures, tasting foreign food, on the beach or by the poolside, watching sunsets you know the more relaxing less stressful kind of stuff then the hiking, kayaking etc. We’re all different so whatever works for you go for it. We often spend endless hours in the office and forget about taking a break and spending quality time with those outside of the office like family and friends. All this week I’ve been trying to figure out the right moment to snap this view but either the weather has been unfavorable to take that shot or the kids are splashing away before I get there. So it was up early to beat everyone to the pool to take the shot of this magnificent view. I had to rush because I had an early morning flight too but thankfully the hotel was aware and made early breakfast, arranged transport and Fiji Airways has an office there where you can check in and get your boarding passes etc. it’s convenient and obviously relieves the potential stress. Taking this pic reminded me once again about an important work on entrepreneurial principle. You can’t have everything you want, but if you want it badly (like taking this shot) you have to assess and create an opportunity to have a chance at taking the shot. Mea, this is a wonderfully insightful and relatable message about the importance of taking time for rest, relaxation, and personal rejuvenation. A few key takeaways: 1. The Necessity of R&R: You rightly point out that taking a break from the busy routine is crucial, no matter one's profession or lifestyle. It allows us to recharge, relieve stress, and return to our responsibilities with renewed energy and perspective. 2. Embracing Different R&R Activities: You highlight the diverse ways people can unwind - from travel and cultural exploration to more active pursuits like hiking and kayaking. The key is finding what truly resonates and provides that sense of relaxation and rejuvenation. 3. Work-Life Balance: Your message underscores the need to strike a healthy balance between work and personal time. It's easy to get consumed by endless hours in the office, but making time for family, friends, and personal interests is essential for well-being. 4. Seizing Opportunities: The anecdote about trying to capture the perfect poolside shot is a great metaphor. It shows how sometimes we have to be proactive, assess the situation, and seize the moment in order to achieve what we truly want - even if it requires some extra effort upfront. This holistic perspective on the importance of work-life balance and strategic planning to make the most of our downtime is truly inspiring. It's a great reminder that even the busiest professionals need to prioritize self-care and personal fulfillment to maintain their passion and productivity. Thank you for sharing this thoughtful and relatable message. It's a wonderful example of the kind of content that can truly resonate with and motivate others to prioritize their own well-being and work-life harmony.

We are a nation of optimists, and nothing demonstrates this better than our attitude to the great outdoors. The British summer may be temperamental, but that doesn’t stop us heading outside in our millions at the first sign of sunshine. Whatever the weather, we’ll give it our best shot at making the UK’s beaches, parks and beer gardens heaving over the coming weeks. Many workplaces will also be marking the start of summer by opening up outdoor areas for their staff. This is a great way to raise morale, but it’s important to keep safety in mind. From removing tripping hazards to preventing sunburn, here’s how you can keep your outdoor areas safe and enjoyable this summer: https://lnkd.in/euuCwi-2 #HealthAndSafety #RiskAssessment #OutdoorSafety

Over the weekend, I enjoyed a quick getaway to the Peak District with my friends and clients, Howard and Andrew Lewis, whom I now affectionately call Foggy and Clegg. Our adventure often felt like a scene from 'Last of the Summer Wine,' with a hint of 'Men Behaving Badly' thrown in for good measure. We started with a day of mountain biking on eMountain Bikes, making those near-impossible climbs feel achievable without our lungs threatening to leap out of our chests! The next day, we tackled a 17km hike through some of the most stunning scenery. While we're all aware of the health benefits of exercise, it's the access to the great outdoors that really brings it home. Training gives you the ability to move effortlessly up and down hills, navigate rocky steps, and fully enjoy the adventure without feeling like you’ve signed up for an endurance test. By the end of that 17km hike, the thought of a couple of pints and some fish and chips was all that kept us going. We wrapped up the day with an early night, feeling both exhausted and exhilarated—a true rock 'n' roll ending! This experience underscores the importance of supporting health interventions in business, benefiting both customers and staff alike. Encouraging physical activity and outdoor adventures not only enhances physical and mental well-being but also fosters a happier, more productive environment. This, in turn, improves customer adherence and reduces staff absenteeism, ultimately benefiting your companies bottom line. So, next time you’re in the gym or out training, or pondering on budgets remember it’s all about gearing up for adventures, laughs, and creating lasting memories in the great outdoors. I'd love to receive any comments and thoughts you might have and, if you'd like to know more about how a similar program could work for your business and clients, please message me. #HealthAndWellness #EmployeeWellbeing #OutdoorAdventures #CorporateHealth #PhysicalActivity #MentalWellbeing #CustomerAdherence #StaffAbsenteeism #BusinessSuccess

Europe’s New Summer Trend. Ah, Europe—where we traditionally enjoy four seasons: winter, almost winter, still winter, and rain. 🌧️☔ Apparently, this summer, the weather decided to keep us guessing. Instead of endless sunshine, we now have the thrilling daily ritual of 10-minute rain showers at the start and end of each day. It’s like Mother Nature has decided we need a permanent reminder to stay humble. Remember when summer meant planning beach trips and barbecues? Now, it’s more about waterproof jackets and strategic umbrella placement. Who needs a suntan when you can have that fresh look? But let’s look on the bright side—or rather, the cloudy side. At least our gardens are thriving, right? And think of all the money we’re saving on sunscreen! Plus, nothing says romance like a spontaneous rain-soaked stroll... or maybe not. Here’s to embracing the unpredictability, finding joy in the drizzle, and always carrying an umbrella because, let’s face it, you never know when the next downpour will strike. Cheers to our ‘new’ summer, Europe! ☔🌞 #CleanBeauty #Sustainability #Wellbeing #Ecofriendly #Beautybusiness
