    As the Director of Communications and Marketing and Executive Creative Director at TEDxRoma, I play a pivotal role in shaping and leading the communication strategy for one of Rome's most prestigious and impactful events. For the 2024 edition, which attracted nearly 3,000 attendees, I built and managed a pro bono communications team of 20 talented individuals.     As the Director of Communications and Marketing and Executive Creative Director at TEDxRoma, I play a pivotal role in shaping and leading the communication strategy for one of Rome's most prestigious and impactful events. For the 2024 edition, which attracted nearly 3,000 attendees, I built and managed a pro bono communications team of 20 talented individuals. This included an internationally recognized planner, ten creatives from across Europe, and a dedicated social media team of four, all working together to deliver one of the most successful TEDxRoma events to date.

    I also established strategic media partnerships, securing over 400 advertising spaces across Rome through Roma Capitale and APA Affissioni, including billboards, DOOH screens, and radio campaigns, significantly amplifying the event's visibility.

    Following the success of the 2024 edition, I am now leading efforts for the next TEDxRoma, continuing to innovate and expand its reach while fostering a vibrant and engaged community.

    Key Responsibilities:
    - Strategy: Develop comprehensive communication plans aligning with TEDx Roma's objectives.
    - Content Creation: Oversee engaging content creation, from articles to videos.
    - Media Relations: Foster media relationships for event coverage.
    - Online Presence: Manage web and social content for an informed audience.
    - Audience Engagement: Foster excitement and dialogue within the TEDx Roma community.
    - Branding: Maintain TEDx's integrity while tailoring messages to our audience.
    - Event Promotion: Innovatively drive ticket sales and attendance.
    - Crisis Management: Ensure transparency and reputation protection.
    - Performance: Establish KPIs, and refine strategies through data and insights.
    - Team Leadership: Guide and support communication professionals.

    “Life is out there. Are you?” is the positioning of the New Ford EcoSport. Our task: develop an integrated campaign that changes and builds through 5 months, from the first teasing phase to the last one product-centered. And, needless to say, to keep it relevant, funny and entertaining throughout.

    Idea
    We teamed up with the most provocative youtubers in Italy and aired pieces of content along the entire duration of the campaign: 8 web videos, dozens of posts and stories…

    Background

    We teamed up with the most provocative youtubers in Italy and aired pieces of content along the entire duration of the campaign: 8 web videos, dozens of posts and stories and even a mold from the Italian football golden-boy, Lorenzo Insigne. Every piece of content saying ‘Life is out there. Are you?’, all of them saying that in a different funny way.

    RESULTS
    Over 17 million the impressions, 194K the engagement and more than 12,4 million the overall views.

    We created a unique device that turns car windows into a tactile screen for the blind. The device transforms the landscape into vibrations transmitted on the car windows, allowing the visually impaired to ‘see’ the view through their fingertips. We developed an innovative language that allows the blind to experience the surroundings not via description, as the braille, but through a real representation of reality.     We created a unique device that turns car windows into a tactile screen for the blind. The device transforms the landscape into vibrations transmitted on the car windows, allowing the visually impaired to ‘see’ the view through their fingertips. We developed an innovative language that allows the blind to experience the surroundings not via description, as the braille, but through a real representation of reality. A representation that the blind can experience by touching the different shapes of the world around described by up to 255 levels of vibrations. Plus, the different audio frequencies of the vibrations help the blind to recognize a shape from another.
    The device is specifically designed to be used by the blind in an easy way, and entirely autonomously. The visually impaired person takes a picture of the view through an easy to reach button. The picture is then converted into a grey scale image. Every shade of grey is translated into a vibration of different intensity on the car window, allowing the blind to visualize the landscape. The brighter the area, the higher the vibration.
    Moreover, an AI recognizes the elements of the picture associating a vocal description of every item of the landscaped while is being touched by the blind. All the process happens instantaneously.

    Blind people can’t fully enjoy road trips mostly because they can’t experience the view outside the car window. Therefore, we thought that if we would find a way to make a visual view tactile, we would give blind people the chance to appreciate a landscape in a car trip for the first time.
    This is why we developed Feel the View: the first device that through 255 levels of vibrations on the car window translates a visual landscape into one you can experience by touch.

    A built-in camera takes a picture of the view that is then converted into a grey scale image. Moreover, an integrated vocal assistant connected to the car’s audio system, by means of an online AI, will help them put the image into context.

    Noemi Fans Club attended all 9 concerts following the singer at all stages of the tour.
