India’s internet ecosystem is full of stories of founders starting up, shutting down, being acquired, of being forced out, before they build something that works. A very common observation about millennial dual career parents 👨‍💻👩‍💻in metros (esp. if they were raised in tier 2 cities) is that they - 💰👶 severely over-manage career/money (save & compound), parenting/raising kids and 🧘‍♀️👫 significantly under manage health, self-care, relationship with partner/spouse. Usually forgetting how the lack of latter affects the former in the long-term. It's mostly because of middle class values where we are usually never taught that: 💒 Just like career & wealth, marriage or romantic partnership also needs work & investment of time. The project doesn't end once you find a match and "settle down". 🐁 Beyond a point where you can afford a comfortable, secure life - rat race is really a choice. You don't have to keep running. A little bit rest is not a sin. 🏃‍♀️ Self-care (esp. if you are a mother) is as important or even more important than focusing on raising Einsteins. Research has time and again proven that the biggest predictors of happy, emotionally healthy & well-balanced adulthood (for a child) is - mother's happiness/well being and the relationship between parents. And we all agree that good health and a loving home can work wonders for one's work life. Well as a working mother those are the most important lessons I have learnt in the last 2 years (unfortunately the hard way) Would love to hear more thoughts from millennial parents 😊

Santosh Sharan famously said, “Gains from the best (GTM) practices decay over time” After experiencing this firsthand over the last year, I completely second this. We've seen various go-to-market motions adopted by different companies. In my first journey at Innovaccer, we used an outbound email go-to-market motion, which was successful back then. However, even after knowing this method worked in the past, trying it for six months at kim.cc proved it wasn’t the right fit, and we had to stop. This reinforced my belief in the importance of finding your mojo - a GTM motion that aligns perfectly with your current market conditions. For example, Adam Robinson successfully used LinkedIn as a go-to-market motion. Others have leveraged SEO for inbound, while some have used Shopify. The key is understanding where your customers are and ensuring your positioning or pitch resonates with them. Being impacted by a layoff can be challenging, but it can also be an opportunity to explore new career paths and opportunities. Here are some strategies to help you find a new job after a layoff- 1. Update Your Resume and LinkedIn Profile- Highlight your most recent experiences, achievements, and skills. Tailor your resume for the types of roles you are seeking. Make sure your LinkedIn profile is up to date, includes a professional photo, a compelling headline, and a summary that showcases your skills and accomplishments. 2.
