While building Bibli, we are approaching product growth as a 3 stage process each dependent on the previous: 1. Engagement and Retention - Get children to spend time consistently 2. Learning Outcome - Measure improvement in learning 3. Monetisation - If 1 and 2 happens, monetisation will happen. Before that, any effort to monetise and/ or scale will misfire. After multiple iterations, we are close at solving goal 1 - a significant chunk of acquired users are now using the platform even post a month. Moving to goal 2 - learning outcome. In 2014, India's average data consumption per user was just 0.3 GB/month at ₹269/GB. Today, thanks to Modi Govt's push and players like Jio, users consume 30.3 GB/month at ₹10-13/GB. Remember when we rationed data usage to stretch it for a month? Now, everyone's a legal expert, taxation guru, election analyst, military strategist and more! 😆 We've come a long way from just worrying about onion and tomato prices to debating complex tax issues like Indexation. Raised $26,000,000 with just an idea Lyskraft India Pvt Ltd - the latest kid in the block! So, Mukesh Bansal is back with another startup this time with Mohit Gupta, the former CEO of Zomato's food delivery arm. In July of last year, there were reports about Bansal and Gupta raising funds for a new venture. As per TechCrunch, both of them pitched a range of ideas to potential backers like a female-focused counterpart to Manyavar and "Infosys 2.0" a presumed upgrade to a multinational IT services and consulting firm. Now finally... The news is out and we know what they are building, Lyskraft: initially a women's only marketplace for premium brands mostly focusing on Gen-Z shoppers. Recently we have seen giant e-commerce platforms launching dedicated portals to attract GenZ shoppers, like SPOYL launched by Flipkart within its app, FWD by Myntra, also we are seeing the growth of new-age startups working in this space like Virgio(Mukesh Bansal is an investor in it), Newme(recently raised $4,500,000), Absolute Brands, Snitch, Styched and many more As per Inc42's Report, India's fashion and apparel sector is projected to reach a mouth-watering $112 Billion by 2030, which will be over a quarter of the country's $400 Billion e-commerce market!! While small feature updates like this can improve the user experience, we should focus on celebrating innovations that solve real problems at scale or drive measurable impact, I don't know what's new for Zomato as a company here, they already had all the setup just a UI tweak to flash this to nearby people in reality people don't cancel their order after paying for their order, After 100's of order on Swiggy, Zomato there have hardly been an instance where I cancelled an order after paying Entire world is doing something new especially with AI and we are praising all these small feature launches , we should think about raising our feature launch discussion standards..

𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞: Flipkart entering the groceries delivery market where BigBasket is operating with a 1-day delivery timeline. Here relevant focus area can be more on differentiated offering of Flipkart compared to BigBasket to solve the same problem (may be a shorter delivery timeline of 2 hours). 𝐒𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨 𝐁: User Needs are addressed by a lateral thinking solution (completely new) in an existing market. 𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞: Blinkit wants to enter the groceries delivery market with a 10-minute delivery timeline. Here more emphasis is needed on discovery of user needs which can be groceries deliverable within 10 minutes. 𝐒𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨 𝐂: User Needs and Market of Operation are totally new from existing state. with the early success of Blinkit, "Quick Commerce for X" is all-time high and no one wants to miss the bus. QC for Food Delivery: 1) Swish : offering 10-min food delivery in Bengaluru's HSR layout 2) Swiggy : announced Bolt for 10-min food delivery 3) Zomato : testing their 10-min food delivery 4) Licious : shifting to 15-min meat delivery starting from Gurgaon, as of now it has promised 30-min delivery QC for Fashion & Beauty segment: 1) Myntra : piloting 4-hour delivery 2) Nykka : piloting 10-min delivery, starting from Borivali, Mumbai 3) Blip Fashion & Slikk : attempting 30-minute delivery in fashion 4) NEWME : has made available over 6k designs for 90-min delivery in Delhi-NCR QC for Medicines: 1) Dava Ninza: helping pharmacies to deliver medicines under 60-mins. It's still a topic of debate that 10-min service is going to be new normal in long run or not but as market matures, every platform is going to settle down to a more realistic 30 min to 4 hour delivery depending upon the products and urgency. In the long run more regulations will follow resulting in high cost for delivery partners, dark stores and less competition to deliver faster due to multiple acquisitions, ending with 2-3 major players. With a parallel race in EV segment, EV startups such as Zypp Electric and Yulu bikes are reaping benefits of high demands in QC space by focusing on delivering orders through their fleets.

Writing is a creative pursuit, and I feel so lucky to be in a PM/ Founder role because it offers so many opportunities to write. Here is a simple example from today. Couple of hours back, I started writing this post titled "Mastering the Product Analytics Interviews". It felt like a plain, vanilla post where I will share some frameworks and examples on how to master the product analytics interview. 2 hours later, the title has changed to "ChatGPT and Mastering the Product Analytics Interviews" because it took an entirely different turn while writing , and I am writing about Chinese Room Argument and Turing tests :) And this isn't an exception. I am often amazed with good ideas that writing brings, and bad ideas that it discards. Make full use of writing. It's a natural human tendency to feel and be creative. What's better, ChatGPT isn't replacing creativity soon ;)
