Right out of college, I joined Razorpay and dove headfirst into building our game-changing Affordability Widget. It's been incredible to witness the Widget evolve from a concept to a massive, industry-first product! 🚀 Our journey began by noticing high cart abandonment rates - customers weren't aware of EMI options, leading to purchase drop-off. To address this, we built the Affordability Widget. This tech gem, architected for scalability, now smoothly handles millions of unique customers (#humblebrag 😜) and can weather peak traffic during high-offer periods with ease (think thousands of concurrent hits!). 💪 But it's not just muscle! The Widget is built for flexibility. It seamlessly integrates with various Shopify themes, requiring minimal setup from merchants. We even automated the entire process - a true testament to self-service tech! ⚙️ The impact? Conversion rates for merchants have skyrocketed by a whopping 30%! To further empower sellers, we made the Widget fully customizable and introduced features like EMI Eligibility Check and Discount Whisperer to help customers unlock the best deals. The latest addition - Checkout from Widget - lets customers complete purchases directly, eliminating the ‘add to cart’ step entirely! 🛒 It's been an absolute thrill to be part of the Affordability Widget's success story. This experience fuels my passion to build even more innovative, industry-first products at Razorpay!

I made it! Two years at Razorpay, and I'm still counting ! 🎉 In all honesty, these two years have been an absolute whirlwind – from "what do you mean there's an error in the payment gateway?" to actually fixing it. It’s been a blur of meetings, sprint moments, and navigating Razorpay’s secret sauce of tech, innovation, and a touch of chaos. And honestly, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. It’s been an exhilarating ride that has pushed me to grow every single day. In all seriousness, I couldn’t be more grateful for the amazing team here – a group of brilliant, slightly caffeinated people who somehow make the impossible look easy (and are patient enough to answer my many questions 😜 ). Razorpay I am highlighting this with serious disappointment about your dashboard upgrade for customers like us, who have integrated with your platform. When such a major upgrade happens, do you take feedbacks from your customers, before making that change? Your team says, it has lot more features, may be? But there is something called user convenience and experience? My team is finding it really difficult, now, to reconcile with the new interface, so much more difficult to find information, which was earlier available at a click of a button. I am not sure, how this new interface has been approached? Is it just to load it with new features or there was some considerations for customer convenience? Seriously disappointed - more so because now you are forcing us to use this interface rather than having the option to use previous one. For your understanding Razorpay, every company allows its customer to go to the new platform or remain with older one. Case in point, ICICIDirect, #GoogleAds and many more. There upgrade is run for a longer time so that old users can adapt to changes or the company makes changes based on the feedbacks received. I was one step away from submitting My neighbour's id proof and my future generation details. I can understand if your onboarding team asks to share my personal details, my business details, bank account details. The real Magic was when your team ask me to share my Peer to Peer agreements, B2B agreements to activate my razorpay account. Onboarding process is so smooth where I was asked to execute same Task multiple times every day. I understand people might use your services and scam people. everyone is not coming from same ideology. Razorpay has a super crazy dashboard I loved it it's very quick. you guys has created a great user experience. I'm sure you guys are super serious with the business terms and conditions. I don't have words how I should thank you guys. for a minute I was thinking how I should manage my digital transactions, How can I make my clients payment process convenient and Hassel free. unknowingly you guys made me to find new ways where I can save 2% on every transaction. that was a huge bet. Update: The account is activated now. Hi Razorpay, I expected better from you I was pitched regarding your international payments feature, a month back and I was convinced to go ahead and enable it. I got all KYCs done and around 15 days back, an error popped up while activating the account. I was mentioned that it is due to an edge case and it is getting resolved. I trusted the platform and assured my customers to wait. The last communication I received was on 13th November that it will be resolved by Friday(yesterday) and sitting today(Saturday), it is still the same. I understand that there are edge cases but taking this much time raises a serious concern on how a customer is being dealt. Harshil Mathur Shashank Kumar, you have built a strong name of Razorpay and I respect it. I suggest to look into what is going wrong. We have helped many customers to run hackathons and get innovative solutions/ideas for their process, technology improvements.
