🌍 Last Monday on behalf of BioPharmaChem Ireland we hosted the first of our Webinars on Sustainable Standards in #Biopharma 👨🔬 Our topic was My Green Lab Certification and we were joined by over 100 BioPharmaChem Ireland members from 35 organisations. My Green Lab Certification is considered the gold standard for #laboratory #sustainability best practices around the world. We were delighted to have a variety of speakers ✅ Stephanie Millar joined us all the way from Florida to present the certification process for My Green Lab ✅ Roisin O'Sullivan outlined the journey of Astellas Pharma to certification. ✅ Deborah Gardner gave us a great account of the path to certification of Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (AstraZeneca ) 🙏 All the talks were very engaging and thought provoking and have sparked a lot of interest in our members. In BPCI, we believe sharing programs like this will help embed #sustainable practice into all laboratories in the country. BioPharmaChem Ireland recently held its #GxP #Training Committee Meeting in MSD Ireland, Dunboyne, with a variety of #BPCI member companies in attendance. The engagement was a great success, we shared #insights, #challenges and #knowledge on key areas: 📑 Eliminating the ‘read & understand’: MSD presented a user case #study on moving away from individual and paper based #training leading to a more interactive and #efficient training #process across its sites. ✅ #Benchmarking #Critical #Skills: We discussed the importance of defining core #competencies and #transferable skills across #manufacturing sites, resulting in a plan to develop a standardized skills framework across sister sites for particular companies. This #forum provides a #valuable opportunity for BPCI members to learn from #industry #peers, gain valuable #insights into the #GxP #Training procedures employed across the industry and engage in open #discussions.
