#HymeNews 📣 Exciting partnership to accelerate industrial heat decarbonisation! We are excited to announce a new step to accelerate the transition towards a more sustainable future🌿. Hyme has signed a partner agreement with Semco Maritime, a well-reputed engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractor, have entered a partnership to deploy Hyme Energy’s products in Denmark and other Northern European countries.   This partnership marks a new stage in a collaboration that began in 2023, with Semco Maritime serving as the EPC contractor for Hyme’s industrial-scale demonstrator plant in Esbjerg, Denmark. Now we're doubling down on our joint mission to deliver an innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective solution for companies looking to decarbonise their operations. “At Hyme Energy, we are proud to be able to expand our partnership with Semco Maritime. As we continue our product development, the partnership establishes a strong execution ability, so we can bring our plants to our industrial customers on time and on cost,” says Ask Emil Løvschall-Jensen, CEO and co-founder of Hyme Energy. Today a sustainable future just came one important step closer! I had the pleasure of cutting the ribbon together with Søren Gade at the inauguration ceremony for our pilot plant; the industry scale proof-of-technology that we have been working on since the founding of Hyme just over two years ago. Seeing the complete physical plant is not just a great milestone but it is also seeing a vision of a future where sustainable energy is always available starting to become reality. Believing the progress we have made with our wonderful team and partners, is sometimes hard. As the plant starts operations and continue for the coming months, we will iterate the learnings back into the into our product development but equally important we will demonstrate the true potential of the technology. Today I will for once not think too much about next steps but enjoy and take pride in what we have already achieved together. I would like to thank the partners of the MOSS project - Alfa Laval, Sulzer, Energy Cluster Denmark, KIRT x THOMSEN, DIN Forsyning, Aalborg University and Seaborg Technologies - and our construction partner, SEMCO for the work and dedication which has led us here. I'm happy to share that we have closed a EUR 6 million financing round! The round was led by Novo Holdings with co-investments from Einar Willumsen and existing investors Danmarks Eksport - og Investeringsfond and Rockstart! REDUCED started in 2020 with Williams idea of collecting side streams from farms and trying to make organic food products from them. Focussing on how to extract the most flavour from these side streams has led us to where we are today, but obviously, this has solely been possible due to the immense support we have received. A lot of people, companies and organisations have played an important part - here only to highlight a few: Jesper Holmberg, who produced our first products when we had little idea about what we were doing.. Mark Durno, Mark Emil Hermansen and Eric Archambeau, who helped us get off the ground with a group of amazing pre-seed investors back in 2021. Our board, consisting of Thomas Dyrberg, Sara Sande and Louise Lachmann that has been essential in the recent stages of the company. Lastly and most importantly, the entire team at REDUCED. We are excited to continue our mission to create better and more delicious flavour solutions. Now, with some of the most skilled partners within biosolutions and flavour creation - let's go!!!
