Wrapping up our first full year in Aeven As the year comes to an end, we’re filled with gratitude for the moments shared and memories built along the way in Aeven. This December, our offices in the Philippines, Czech Republic, and Denmark gathered in unique and local ways to ring in the end of 2024. In Denmark, our colleagues gathered for hygge, gløgg, and æbleskiver, where our Executive Leadership Team joined forces in facilitating the Christmas Bingo, a classic tradition with great prizes at stake. Our colleagues in the Czech Republic got into the festive spirit and gathered for food and drinks. As a part of the holiday celebrations, our Prague office partnered up with local children’s homes on their mission to help Ježišek (Baby Jesus) spread holiday cheer by buying presents for children in need. In the Philippines, our colleagues were brought back to childhood joy with a children’s themed party featuring Jollibee, a beloved cultural icon who represents happiness, family, and togetherness, adding a warm and nostalgic touch to the year-end celebrations. No matter where we are in the world, one thing is certain: In Aeven, it’s the people who make the moments matter. These celebrations reminded us of the great connections we’ve built across borders and cultures 💚 #Aeven #ITInfrastructure #DigitalInfrastructure #AdaptiveDigitalInfrastructure

In Aeven, we believe in creating a positive impact for the sake of the communities we’re a part of. This year, the Philippines has experienced a heartbreaking milestone, enduring a record-breaking season of back-to-back typhoons. A part of this, Wawa Elementary School has been severely affected, resulting in over 100 children attending classes in old container units due to a lack of proper facilities. Together with local partners and organizations, more than 30 of our colleagues in the Philippines volunteered at the school on Friday. Here, they collected private donations, unused furniture, and essential school supplies like pencils and paper. The team also spent their time delivering these donations, collaborated with recently graduated dentists to ensure the children’s teeth were looked after, and helped clean nearby water reserves. “This initiative is a testament to the power of community and collaboration. We’re deeply grateful to everyone contributing to this effort. Together, we’re building a brighter future for these students, one step at a time. Let’s keep fostering a culture of care, kindness, and impact,” Karsten Hjorth Reichstein, General Manager of Aeven Philippines, says. #Aeven #Aevengroup #AdaptiveDigitalInfrastructure

🤝 Powering sustainability through partnerships 🤝 As the first of its kind in Denmark, we developed our Fast Frequency Reserve in one of our data centers in collaboration with Schneider Electric. Apart from being an innovation that builds on our Galaxy VX UPS emergency power system, it takes the efficiency and reliability of our operation to new heights. “With the FFR solution, we can stabilize the local power grid, secure critical IT infrastructure for our customers, and reduce energy waste in favor of our planet,” says Peter Kristian Søgaard, Director of Data Center Critical Facility. In 2023, this solution was recognized at the 2023 Danish Data Center Industry Awards and awarded with the Sustainable Data Center Project prize. Henrik Bodskov joins Dansk Erhverv to discuss tech, innovation, and competitiveness in the EU 🌍 Our CEO recently paid Brussels a visit along with other industry leaders to discuss how Europe approaches tech, innovation, and competitiveness. During the visit, they connected with top EU voices, talking about the importance of consolidation and balance in the tech industry. Among some key takeaways was the discussion that regulations should be seen as an opportunity to conduct risk assessments and foster competitive advantages instead of seeing it as a burden – and how this requires uniform interpretations of the regulations in the EU. Another discussion highlighted the need for a hybrid perspective on the industry. While we must maintain our transatlantic relations and make use of US technologies, it should be done with reason. However, we can be inspired by their approach to technological innovation. In light of this, the group advocated for a more flexible framework with investment incentives to be a driver for local tech innovation, as well as enhancing the opportunity to utilize digital solutions and competencies across the EU. In Aeven, we recognize the importance of collaboration between companies and policymakers for the future competitiveness of the European tech industry. A huge thanks to Nikolaj Juncher Wædegaard, Cecilie Fjeldberg and Joen Magieres from Dansk Erhverv for giving us the opportunity to participate in this insightful discussion 💡 We’re proud to participate in insightful discussions like these, as we recognize the importance of collaboration between companies and policymakers for the future competitiveness of the European tech industry. A huge thanks to the dedicated industry leaders Søren Lindgaard, Thomas Jensen, Stine Mølgaard Sørensen and Thomas Madsen-Mygdal for insightful discussions and great company, as well as to Thomas Skordas and Christiane Kirketerp de Viron. #Aeven #EuropeanUnion #ITInfrastructure #AdaptiveDigitalInfrastructure

From Laptops to Social Activities on Our Graduate Introduction Trip 👥 Last week, our graduates in Denmark turned off their laptops and went on a three-day introduction trip to Røsnæs filled with laughs and high spirits. The agenda not only included team-building activities, where the graduates got the opportunity to get to know their colleagues on a professional level. It also included social activities creating a safe space for them to connect on a personal level. Joining them on the trip were our colleagues Line Heiberg, Senior HR Business Partner, Margrete Rud Rasmussen, Senior Org. Development Consultant, and Camilla Fussing Marques, Director in Project Management Infrastructure. When talking about the thoughts behind the introduction trip, Line says: “The aim of the trip was for the graduates to build relationships across the different departments. Through the graduate program, we are developing the next generation in Aeven. They have joined us with a fresh set of eyes and a great portion of curiosity, which is beneficial to our organization. Therefore, we would like for them to establish a fruitful professional community from the early stages.” In Aeven, we believe that the integration of a graduate program isn’t solely about fostering academic excellence; it’s an investment in developing the next generation of leaders, innovators, and problem solvers 🙌 Are you curious to know more about our graduate program?
