📹On set again! This time, we stopped by the Institute of Vehicle System Development of the Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT). Together with our university partner, we do research in virtual vehicle testing on their Vehicle-in-the-Loop Test Bench. Recently, they integrated virtual reality headsets to make tests even more realistic. To give you some insights, we were on the road with our videographer Jan Dietz. We are looking forward to showing you the results! Systematic testing and validation are decisive for the market maturity of automated driving functions. A considerable challenge in this regard is to map the correlation of sensors, actuators and vehicle guidance algorithms realistically on one test bench.
