In its #SDV Pulse report, Thoughtworks and Amazon Web Services (AWS) has highlighted the potential of #RustLang for the software-defined vehicle. From Page 24: ⚡ "The Ferrocene project qualified the Rust compiler against ISO 26262 (ASIL D) and IEC 61508 (SIL 4). The source code and qualification documents are open-sourced. We see this as a fundamental step towards using Rust in functional safety-relevant cases.
