Our weekly recap of what’s been happening in the Australian car market 👀 With more equipment the Mercedes-Benz GLS 600 Maybach had the biggest price increase of the year (+$40k) jumping to $490k drive away. Coming in at around $150k cheaper is the all-new EQS SUV Maybach which is now live. Only two weeks after it’s launch the petrol MG3 has found itself coming down -5% to a national drive away price starting from $24,990. There's also the N-TREK variants of the Nissan X-Trail which have been released and will prove a popular choice in this booming segment. Our weekly recap of what’s been happening in the Australian car market 👀 Another EV adjustment this week with the Ford Mustang Mach-E reducing a significant -$7,762 on average. This is becoming a weekly trend which leaves us asking - which EV will be next!? Porsche released the 911 facelift and whilst the models themselves are more expensive than their outgoing versions, they have only released 8 variants - down from 25 previously available. No longer having 17 cars priced over $300,000 offered the market is the main reason we have seen the average car price in Australia drop from $100k down to $95k in one week! With Hyundai no longer selling their IONIQ models via the agency model, they have revised their pricing going against the recent EV trend with a +3.7% increase. Finally, a lot of activity from Volkswagen this week headlined by the Golf GTI launching a $59,990 national drive away campaign. It might only be down $1,500 but it has upwards of $6,600 added content. There’s also a significant price increase on the Amarok and the Touareg facelift now available to search.
